Reluctant admission of guilt is not ‘Redemption’

Suppose one commits a crime. Before He/She commits he/she is warned. Nevertheless He/She goes ahead and commits that crime he/she is warned against. He/She is caught and brought before the Court. Court finds Him/Her guilty of committing the Crime despite warning. Court sentences Him/Her to Jail. He/She has no other choice but to accept the Guilt. Or do they?

Will it be His/Her Redemption?  Sure I am that your answer would be capital NO.

But then if you are ‘Chamcha In Chief’ of CON party and work in a CON party Rag Called ‘The Hindustan Times’ then you suspend all logic and try give it a spin and try prove that He/She is statesman/woman since accepts guilt.

What I am talking about is this article Written by ‘Chamcha In Chief’ Pankaj Vohra of HT in today’s paper. Come lets us see what he has to offer. My comments in Communal Saffron Color

PM redeems his image.

By accepting responsibility for the decision to appoint PJ Thomas as the Central Vigilance Commissioner (CVC) following the apex court’s ruling that the  appointment was illegal, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has exhibited statesmanship of the highest order. In doing so, he has sent out a strong signal that if a mistake is made, it is best to admit it rather than hide behind bureaucratic notings. The PM has finally shown that the buck stops with him and that he, like any other citizen, had no hesitation in accepting the verdict of the highest court.

(Reading above gives you an impression that MMS has done Supreme Court and Indians a great favor by accepting the Supreme Court Verdict as if he had a Choice of not accepting it! As for STATESMANSHIP! WTF! Is he not duty bound to accept/respect Apex Court Order? As for hiding behind he would have surely done that, if he had even a smallest of excuse. We all know him quite well by now. Huh!)

Equally commendable is the immediate response from the leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Sushma Swaraj, the shadow prime minister, that the matter should be closed and one must move on. Swaraj was also on the panel to appoint Thomas though she disagreed with both the prime minister and the home minister on the choice of the nominee. Her counterpart in the Rajya Sabha, Arun Jaitley, though wants some clarifications on the issue. Given the prime minister’s candid admission, the matter could blow over in Parliament.

(That was stupid of Sushama saying pre maturely. She should have waited for MMS to speak in Lok Sabha first. Majority view is reflected by Arun Jaitley)

However, the appointment has several lessons for the ruling party. In future, there should be proper scrutiny of every person nominated for a sensitive position, particularly the offices that directly deal with corruption. Singh’s admission of his mistake and his subsequent comment that the appointment was not a result of coalition compulsions indicate that Thomas was shortlisted by elements within his own party.

(Quite interestingly today’s HT carries this article by Ashok Malik titled ‘A Curious Choice’ Must Read )

Singh, who was in the eye of a storm after expressing helplessness in dealing with some corruption issues at a press conference last month, has redeemed his image with this. (How he has redeemed? What is choice but then not to accept it? Redeemed he would have, had he accepted it before SC called his action as ‘Illegal’. Pankaj is it this hard to understand? ) He is also perhaps the first PM to accept a mistake upfront. (NOW name one Prime Minister whose actions/appointment was held ‘ILLEGAL’ prior to this?) He has tried to scotch speculation that since many decisions were taken elsewhere, his government could not be held accountable. He has shown that if there is a decision taken, even if at the behest of those in the party, the government will not shirk its responsibility for any error of judgement (Error of Judgment???) that it may make. It’s also an indication to the party that it shouldn’t push for issues or cases which may not stand up to judicial scrutiny. (Indirectly he means that now on CON party should be careful on procedures even if they appoint another Tainted one!)

The apex court has come out with flying colours by upholding the rule of law. In that context, the quashing of Thomas’s appointment must be seen as a victory for democracy rather than as a defeat for the government or a triumph for the opposition parties. There are certain issues where individual parties take secondary place since it’s democracy and our values which emerge stronger. (Supreme Court has done its duty and very well too. Kudos!)

Singh’s action also proves that had PV Narasimha Rao accepted his responsibility for the demolition of the Babri masjid, the plight of his party wouldn’t have been so dismal in the years that followed his exit from government. Mulayam Singh Yadav, by dissociating himself from Kalyan Singh after the 2009 parliamentary polls, also accepted his mistake in not putting his Samajwadi Party on a secular course. (What is relevance? But then dragging PVNR in everything and blackening Him is CON practice. Sic!) Similarly, Sonia Gandhi overturned the Congress thesis of going it alone in August 2003 to forge a coalition, which finally came to power in 2004. She realised that going it alone at that stage was a mistake and that the Congress had to reinvent itself in the coalition era. Her judgement yielded many political dividends for the party. (Pure political opportunism as is clear to all and any but to Chamcha In Chief, Pankaj Vohara.)

Politicians should not always have colossal egos. They must own up to their mistakes. They are not gods and should act with humility. While there could be many question marks regarding the future of the present government in view of several scams, it is heartening to note that the PM has realised that he is the last port of call. Between us.

Now that was Pankaj Vohra for you. Now why did ManMohan Singh appoint P J Thomas despite objections from LOP and subsequent ‘quashing’ of appointment by Supreme Court? An excerpt from Aashok Malik’s this post ‘A Curious Choice’ might interest you.

Of course, the issue of principle is linked to that of personality. In arguing its case, the UPA government cited a precedent from 1999, when a committee comprising the then PM and home minister (both BJP), Lok Sabha speaker (Telugu Desam) and leaders of the Opposition in the two Houses of Parliament (both Congress) chose the chairman of the National Human Rights Commission. The Congress representatives proposed Justice AH Ahmadi. They were outvoted by the others, who opted for Justice JS Verma.

In invoking this example, the UPA made its point about unanimity being ideal but not mandatory. Even so, it let slip a decidedly clumsy comparison. Ahmadi has had a mixed record since leaving the Supreme Court. He was controversial as chair of the trust governing the Bhopal Memorial Hospital set up by Union Carbide for victims of the 1984 gas leak. It has been alleged that patients at the hospital — survivors of the gas leak — were subjected to drug trials by pharmaceutical companies without their consent. This would make Ahmadi an odd choice for any sort of human rights capacity. In contrast, Verma is cherished as among India’s finest jurists. As with Thomas, why did the Congress believe Justice Ahmadi was more suitable than anyone else? The answer would be fascinating.

I know the title of post might offend some sensitive readers, Apologies in advance, but then when you go through the post will realize that no other word can replace this word. Further I don’t think it is time for niceties anymore, Nation need to speak and speak in the language these thugs and looters understand. Period.

I know many of you too watched the MMS Press Conference with Editors of Electronic Media on 16^th, Feb 2011.

I know most of you are not only disappointed but are disgusted with the way and with what lame excuses PM gave.

I know this as well that majority of us are bewildered about How come a Man like MMS can continue as Prime Minister of India for any more minute…leave alone for rest of term!

I know all the above. But what is the point repeating all that we know and I share with most of you?

My point here is to point out specifically about the definite role or act of omission which lies at the door of MMS. For all other Sins MMS blamed everyone and anyone, he sought to drag Gujarat too (!) for his OWN failures as Head of Government.

Now let me focus on two issues where MMS has failed and has no ‘sacrificial lamb’ to shift blame to.

First issue is ‘selection’ of P J Thomas as CVC.

As many know facts of case let me say again for the benefit of those who might not. CVC is an overseeing body whose mandate is to keep a tab at Government Servants (Including Elected Representatives) to check any ‘corruption’ and take action against them.

Appointment of CVC – since is a sensitive constitutional post- is done by a Selection Committee comprising of PM, Home Minister and Leader of opposition in Lok Sabha.

Question is: Why leader of opposition?

Answer is: Because CVC is a sensitive quasi judicial post and to be fair to Opposition their ‘consent’ is sought too.

Now, PM and Home Minister appoint a person of ‘suspected integrity’ DESPITE the written dissent of LOP~!

WHY? Why do the committee disregard the ‘Written Dissent’ of LOP? Why Mr. Prime Minister you were ‘hell bent to appoint THIS GENTLEMAN P J THOMAS ALONE?  (I wonder why none of editors present in PC asked this to PM)

Answer is simple; PM was following dictates of Madame Sonia. And, Madame Sonia has a strong ‘Distaste’ for persons with ‘Impeccable Integrity’ at any seat of authority. Her fears of ‘honest with impeccable integrity’ are palpable. Starting from Your Rashtra Patil to Her Prime Minion to Minister in Cabinet to Election Commission (at least previous one Naveen Chawala) to CVC (present one PJ Thomas) … Name one appointment which had been free of controversies including Prime Minister?

Question then arises; why is she afraid of persons who are honest (Real Honest not like MMS). Why is she so scared that she needs only pliable persons like MMS? Let me add, Pranab Mukherjee has so far been a clean person despite being in public life for such a long time, He also heads almost every committee and GOMs too, why then he was not made Prime Minister? Because beyond a point He would not have bend backwards to please Madame and felicitate the Loot Madame and her cronies are doing.

Now since you have read all above you too would reach to the only conclusion I draw: That MMS appointed P J Thomas because he acted as Prime Minion of Mata Sonia – NOT as PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA. Period.

So here goes MMS’s ‘Alleged Honesty and Integrity’ down the gutter. Sic!

Now, the Second Point is ‘S Band’ Spectrum allocation and then cancellation.

Dear readers I know you all are intelligent enough to know the details of ISRO – Devas deal and it’s subsequent cancellation, therefore I skip that and come straight to the point.

And the Point is to share: How close we were to National Security Disaster’.  And God Forbid had this deal gone through what could have been ‘National Security Implications’?

‘S Band’ is a very precious band of Spectrum which is widely used by our Armed Forces (All three Arms). Band is used in Radar Operation, Communications and many other vital application which, I have very limited knowledge- but certainly it is very very important for Defense Forces of our Nation. As I gather from debates on TV among highly respected Scientists, it is suicidal for the National Security to share this highly sensitive Band of Spectrum.

But then, our ‘Allegedly Honest, Mr. Clean’ ManMohan Singh Ji Maharaj neither had any inclination nor any knowledge about what was happening in the Ministry He him self is in charge of!!!

Spectrum was sold, Agreement Finalized, Company almost made deals with Foreign Operators and Honest Clean PM knew nothing all this while!!!

ManMohan Singh JI SAB KO ‘CHUTIA’ SAMJHA HAI KAYA?

Who is MMS going to blame NOW? Raja? Radia?Barkha? Karunadhi? Nareender Modi? Kalmadi? WHO IS TO BE BLAMED MR. ‘HONEST AND CLEAN’ Dr. ????

Zillion thanks to The Hindu Newspaper and Aranab Goswami of Times Now, this scandal was brought to public notice. Otherwise our ‘Good, Honest, Clean’ ManMohan Singh would have sold precious spectrum for cheap and with that would have sold our National Security as well!

When issue came to public knowledge and MMS and cronies realized that Indians won’t tolerate any compromise on National Security they ‘canceled’ this agreement! Now MMS’s Government says we cancel it!

WHY DID IT WAS SIGNED IN THE FIRST PLACE? Issue is directly related with National Security did ManMohan Singh Know Not? If not then why did he not know? Is even the National Security is not for the Prime Minister to take charge of? We demand answer.

If and when DEVAS goes to court and demand ‘penalty’ be paid to them, who will pay? Will MMS pay or Sonia or Clown Prince? Monies will be paid to them(Devas)  from National Exchequer whom we pay as taxes in turn. Insult to Injury!

Mr. Prime Minion of Italian Mata you got to answer the questions I posed here and MIND YOU, they are not mine alone, Nation demands answers.

Mr. ManMohan Singh whatever little respect I still had is lost and any continuation of your in PMO is not only a Threat to Exchequers but Now to National Security as well. You said and I quote, “We still have unfinished agenda…(some thing of this sort)”!!!

What Shamelessness! NO! Enough is Enough Mr. ManMohan Singh. Do Nation a Favor; Pack your Bags and Go Home for never to return. This would be the Single Most service you do to Nation. Huh!

On October 6^th, 2010. Rahul Gandhi (40 years old Middle Aged) Clown Prince of CON party once again shot his mouth off and equated RSS with SIMI.  Middle Aged Clown Prince with serious ‘foot in mouth’ disease is reported to have parroted the lie his CON party has been peddling for years. Middle Aged Clown Prince said and I quote,

“Both these organisations have hardline fundamentalist ideologies.”

When pointed out to 40 years Old Middle Aged Clown Prince that SIMI is a ‘proscribed’ organization while RSS is not, the Scion of CON party said and I quote,

“…both these organisations preach fundamentalist ideologies. That’s a fact and nothing is going to change that fact,”

Rahul Middle Aged Gandhi is not to be blamed for this gaffe and/or outright stupendous statement. Well, at least I give him benefit of ‘Ignorance’. I never expect any ‘sensible’ thing from him even. Since the Middle Aged man has neither grown up ‘mentally’ nor has become Man enough to think independently still.

This reflects truly the ‘mantel’ of this 40 years Old Middle Aged man whom the Paid Media Maharathis has been projecting as ‘future PM’ of India. Sic!

But then Rahul just ‘parroted’ what has been tutored to him by The Most CON man of CON party –Digvijay Singh. Who has been given the ‘onerous’ task of making Rahul a true CON prince.

It has now been more than 10 days since the Lucknow bench of Allahabad high court pronounced its long overdue verdict on Ram Janam Bhumi / disputed structure dispute. As had been busy with work could not share ‘Jubilation’ with you all here – though on Tweet did share and congratulate all.

By now, since the verdict thousands of articles have been written by almost every kind of expert we have in this country of ours. Broadly speaking three aspects of verdict has been debated/argued/commented upon. 1. Legal 2. Political and 3. Secular.

Very much like:

“Ja Ke Man Mein Bhavana Jaise ; Prabu Moorat Tin Dekhi Taise”.

As for Legal and Political aspect of this judgment is concerned: it is more or less uniformly hailed; but by ‘Secular Jehadis’.  They are a crass class of their own and I am not going to waste my energies on them – at least not in this post which I have decided to dedicate to ‘Triumph of my Faith in Santana Hindu Dharma’.

I know my favorite Barkha Didi would be mighty angry with me for celebrating ‘Triumph of My Faith in Sanatan Hindu Dharma’ as she has been ‘assiduously’ asking us to refrain from. But then Barkha Didi had always been angry with me- so damn I care if this post makes her angrier.

As many of my readers know that you’re truly has unshakable faith and confidence in Ram and Sanatan Hindu Dharama and have never ever doubted it even for a sec. NOT even when the Honorable HC had not delivered the verdict yet and the whole Nation was anxiously and nervously waiting for the judgment. I had not even an iota of doubt and knew that ultimately ‘Truth will Triumph’ and so it did.

Lest I am accused of being ‘boosting’ post verdict or as people say ‘everyone is wiser on hindsight’ let me take u back to the journey of my faith and some prophecies made en route prior to judgment. Lest you call me arrogant, pompous let me assure you I am neither. My only intention is to chronicle my tweets for you which demonstrate my ‘Faith and Believe’ in the Santana Hindu Dharma and Lord Shri Ram… as millions of Hindus all over the World too have.

During those three days of September (28^th,29^th and 30^th ) 2010. Not only Hindus but possibly the entire World was anxious and nervous about the Verdict and possible fallout of that, so was I. Indeed had ‘faith and belief’ in Lord Ram but was equally apprehensive about the ‘Secular Mischief’ too.

CON ‘Wealth’ Games: Will ‘Prime Minion’ awake? Will he?

‘Common Wealth Games are on our head and unless I am Un-Patriotic, Anti National Indian- I should keep my mouth shut and do whatever I can to make the games Success.’

This is the message the CON party and its acolytes seek to convey the nation. HUH!

Not long ago the Manish Tiwari of CON party had sought to brand us Anti National because we dare asked Rajiv Gandhi’s complicity in making Warren Anderson escape for good from the law of land post Bhopal Gas Leak in Dec 1984! 15000 Indians were killed in that criminal negligence on the part of Union Carbide. And Rajiv led Central and CON party led State Govt. colluded with the ‘Culprit’ and allowed him to go scot free. Thus denying justice to those who died then, and countless those who died following the ill effects that Gas Leak caused in following years.  Mr. Loud mouth CON party spokesman then said

Those blaming Rajiv Gandhi on Bhopal issue not patriotic”.

People do not call this party- ‘CON’ party- not for nothing. It has an established track record of CONning the gullible Indian public for past 66 years. Once again they are out with another CON trick to deflect the public attention and scrutiny from the ‘rampant corruption’ going on in the name of Common Wealth Games- which has truly become CON Wealth Games.

Once again the CON party and its spokesperson are invoking the sense of National Pride and Honor, so that we stop asking them questions and allow the gang to keep looting the Tax Payers money. HUH!

Some spurious arguments being given are…

1. GOI has no control over Indian Olympic Association as it is an Autonomous body.
2. CWG are being organized by OC constituted by IOA.
3. Suresh Kalmadi is ‘indispensable’ @ this stage since Games are too near.
4. Irrespective of ‘corruption’ Games must go on as National Pride is attached with it.
5. All ‘corruption’ charges will be probed and guilty punished after games are over.

Above are what the ‘Allegedly Honest’ Prime Minion of Sonia ‘Maino’ Gandhi’s Govt arguing and asking us to follow in the Name of National pride and Honor.

Let us judge each argument on its merit.

GOI has no control over Indian Olympic Association as it is an Autonomous body.

Oh! Well may be it is technical but then why has GOI ‘allegedly Loaned’ 1600 Crores to OC (IOA) which is tax payers money? What guarantee GOI has ensured that this Loan would be paid back with interest? What is the time frame for repayment of this loan? What would GOI do in case the ‘Autonomous’ IOA and/or OC fail to repay the loan?

Bullshit this argument is especially when the Tax Payers money is involved and as things are- there is absolutely no way IOA or OC would ever repay this. GOI is custodian of Tax Payers Money, not an Owner of that so can squander away.

CWG are being organized by OC constituted by IOA.

Even if true then the question is: Can IOA and/or OC (run by a coterie of disputable reputations) are allowed to run a muck squandering away Public Money and putting the reputation of entire Nation on stake internationally?

Suresh Kalmadi is ‘indispensable’ @ this stage since Games are too near.

This is most ‘spurious’ of all. My counter question is: In Case- God Forbid – Something happens to this man, say an accident, illness or something and he is incapacitated then will we fold up the Games? Will games be held then or not? Suresh Kalmadi – is not someone who is above laws of Nation and Nature too. If Games will be held in the above scenario –as I am sure it will be- then what is this his being ‘indispensable’ logic about?  The man is a shameless man who has been lying through teeth as exposed by Times Now- deserves to be put in Jail. No one is ‘Indispensable’. Yes of course His being a CON man of CON party he is probably ‘indispensable’ only for one logical reason: His sharing the loot of public Money with Higher Ups of CON party. No other Logic makes him ‘indispensable’. Period.

Irrespective of ‘corruption’ Games must go on as National Pride is attached with it.

This is the ‘Classic’ CON trick.  CON party employs this every now and then especially when its ‘corruption’ is exposed. Just WTF National Pride has to do with the ‘corruption’! Or is it that we want to showcase to World just how corrupt a Nation we are! What message is we sending out that we a Billion plus Nation do not have EVEN one man of ‘Integrity’ to conduct the games successfully thus are putting with a corrupt Shameless man like Kalmadi!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup! Agree,  that we have obligation to conduct games, and we will. But will not condone corruption at any cost too. Period. So Sack Kalmadi and put him in Jail first. Appoint another person/committee and conduct games with head held high. Is this not more ‘honorable’ and ‘prudent’ way to conduct games and send a positive message to World?

OR, is it ‘honorable’ to have a ‘Dishonest’ man on helm of affairs and be a laughing stock for the World? The ‘Allegedly Honest’ Prime Minion needs to wake up from ‘Valium’ induced slumber and face the truth. Alas! We all know he would ‘Just’ not, lest he upsets the apple cart of Mata. Shame!

All ‘corruption’ charges will be probed and guilty punished after games are over.

Ha! Look who is talking!! Allegedly ‘Honest’ Prime Minion’s govt will probe ‘Corruption’ charges against the CON man ( Who apparently has Mata’s blessings) after games are over? Would have laughed aloud had this been not so shameful!

Even if for just argument sake I believe Prime Minion, but then who will conduct investigation? CBI? Huh!

BTW what is the guarantee Suresh Kalmadi and his gang just does not fly away as Madame’s fellow country man ‘Q’ did?

BTW as far as Corruption is concerned; ‘Allegedly Honest’ Prime Minion’s track record is not ‘reassuring’. Not at All. After all it was He who made sure that Madame’s friend ‘Q’ get his ill-gotten money defreeze. After All it is this ‘Allegedly Honest’ Prime Minion who still share Cabinet meeting with A Raja. Indeed it is this ‘Allegedly Honest’ Prime Minion whose CBI selectively restarts or shut cases of corruption conveniently. After all it is during his earlier term we saw the shame less episode of ‘Cash for Votes’ scandal.

No Mr. Prime Minion I have no confidence in your ‘Alleged Honesty’. Sorry, this is how things are and you can blame NO ONE ELSE but Your Self alone.

I have no doubt in mind that the Games must go on and successfully too. As an Indian Honor of my Nation is above all the thing or persons. Here are my suggestions…

1. Sack all these bunch of corrupt Kalmadi team. GOI should step in and take over IOA and concerned committees immediately- even if any act is to be enacted; do it and do it fast. Believe no political party would have any reason to object.
2. Immediately form a core team – Nation has enough brilliant Men/Women of Integrity to take up this challenge and even conduct better.
3. Immediately start a JPC probe and take Nation in to confidence and Charge the persons with no less than the Charge of Treason – as these Crooks brought the Nation to the brink of Ignominy and Shame Internationally.

Still there is time for Dr. Man Mohan Singh to wake up and for once;  prove that he is An Honest Prime Minister of India not merely and ‘Allegedly Honest’ Prime Minion of Mata Sonia ‘Maino’ Gandhi.

Why should not we question Rajiv Gandhi’s complicity in Bhopal aftermath Mr. Manish Tiwari? What is ‘unpatriotic’ about it?

CONgress party is full of too ‘clever by half Lawyers’ of all hues, colors, size and sexes. Manish Tiwari MP from Ludiana, Punjab is one of them. Unfortunately for him he is also spokesman for the party which more often than not, finds self in a soup.

CONgress has been facing flak from all directions for its ‘confirmed’ role in making Warren Anderson escape for good from the law of land. Now since we all know almost every detail about his arrest, flight to New Delhi by MP Govt’s state plane. It is also in public knowledge that the then foreign secretary had arranged a meeting of his (Warren Anderson) with the then President Giani Zail Singh and then Home Minister PV Narsimha Rao. Thereafter he was allowed to fly back to the safe and secure confines of his Home back in USA.

Now all the above are facts which even the CONgress is not denying and so are the sequences of events too are not challenged by them either. Main players are all CONgress men too. Both @ centre and in MP CONgress party was in power. So what and where is the confusion and why responsibility for letting off WA is not fixed? Here it is where CONgress party is in a dilemma.

Dilemma is: How to salvage Rajiv Gandhi’s reputation or whatever is left of that. Because all fingers lead to only one direction – for this all sordid drama around arrest of WA and thereafter   allowed to go free- and that is in Rajiv Gandhi’s. No one is willing to buy that Arjun Singh acted on his own and Rajiv had nothing to do with it. Rajiv had Foreign portfolio too so it is bizarre to think he knew nothing when his own Foreign Secretary was involved? And this I say assuming he didn’t know as PM then!But then, this ‘excuse’ again is not a good reflection on him. If I remember right then he was President of CONgress party too.

To make matters worse CONgress party leaders outwit other fellow CON men by issuing statements of all types of contradictory to others. But most damning one is from one PM (Pranab Muherjee) who would never be PM (Prime Minister). This is a subject of one full blog, some other time. Pranab Da made a statement that Arjun Singh took this decision to send WA out of Bhopal for worsening Law and Order situation in the city. It is laughable even if we believe this was the case. But then India is huge and they could have locked up WA anywhere safe and presented to court.

In short, CONgress and its minions are finding it extremely difficult to sound ‘authentic’ while trying to salvage Rajiv Gandhi’s sullied image. Matters become worse as Madame Sonia ‘Maino’ Gandhi’s pleasure is supreme most for CON men/women/Babas and Babes to ‘survive’ in party and share loot of public money. Hence the frustration. Frustration is more palpable for those who have to appear on 24X7 Nuisance channels as spokesperson for the Gandhi ‘Familia’.

Frustration and confusion is very hard to miss on the faces of Jayanti Natrajan and Manish Tiwari while defending indefensible. This despite the fact that, PadamShris Anchors of 24X7 Nuisance Channels are ‘equally’ sympathetic, if not more to the Madame. To wriggle out of this very difficult situation these spokespersons have resorted to ‘inanities’ of all hues.

Latest one is from Liar Lawyer spokesman of CONgress Mr. Manish Tiwari.   Mr. Manish says that,

“Those blaming Rajiv Gandhi on Bhopal issue not patriotic”.

Now this is rich, indeed! Since when questing a PM has become synonyms with Patriotism?

Manish says,

“Rajiv Gandhi or his government had nothing to do with it. It is baseless and cheap to insinuate that a Prime Minister, who had to sacrifice his mother just one and half month ago (before assuming his office) and then sacrificed his own life five years later for the nation’s integrity, allowed somebody to escape out of the country under any pressure (from the US),”

Please note,

“a Prime Minister, who had to sacrifice his mother just one and half month ago (before assuming his office) and then sacrificed his own life”

If this is what are his drafting skills than Lawyer Manish’s clients better be aware.

Now look at another gem from one All India Women Congress chief Prabha Thakur! In a statement she strongly objected to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi seeking a reply from Congress President Sonia Gandhi on the Bhopal issue.

She says,

“Modi’s move to seek a reply from Gandhi on this issue is a cheap attempt to mislead people of the country… people know that Gandhi had no connection with politics 25 years ago,”

Outright Stupid! Sonia is now the Whole Sole Mallik of CONgress party and it is in this capacity she should clarify her CONgress party and Rajiv Gandhi’s (then PM and her late Husband) role and complicity in whole saga.

Idiocy of the LadyThakur is amazing! She says,

“They are now politicising the issue, which is like applying salt instead of balm to the wounds of the victims. People know Modi’s politics of baking bread on the pyres.”

May I ask these CONgress spokes person one question? What is to politicize? These stupid parrots each time when u ask them ‘Do not politicize issue’. Be it rising prices, foreign policy blunders, ministers corruption, farmers suicide, subversion of democratic institutions or/and anything which is directly related to public and affects them, These worthies have a stock reply ‘do not politicize’. What to politicize then, Idiots? Yours or my ass? Huh!

Her reference to Narrender Bhai Modi as

“People know Modi’s politics of baking bread on the pyres.”

Her own rhetoric Boomerang on her and CONgress. It was CONgress party PM and CM who traded tragic death of 15000 INDIANS by setting free A FOREIGNER who was and is principally responsible for their deaths. Sonia led CONgress had let go Italian Mr. Q too.

Country has a right to know WHY and for HOW MUCH CON party’s PM and CM traded off 15000 dead Indians keeping the interest of Foreigner Businessman’s interest over dead INDIANS.

Sonia ‘Maino’ Gandhi will have to answer better sooner than later.

If questioning Rajiv Gandhi is ‘unpatriotic’ so I am unpatriotic like billion plus others. I do not need a certificate from a MORON like Manish Tiwari Huh!  Period.

The year 1984 has been a year full of unfortunate happenings affecting the trajectory of India adversely for long time to come.  The year was most bloodiest since 1947.

Just a look at 1984 the year it was.

June 3-6 Operation Blue Star.

The most sacred place of Sikhs, Golden Temple was raided by Armed Forces to hound and hunt Jarnail Singh Bhinderwal – a Frankenstein of Indira Gandhi’s  own creation to outwit Akalis – resulting in Huge loss of human lives both Civil and Army Jawans; massive destruction to the Temple Complex and very wounded psyche of otherwise brave and patriotic Sikh Community.

Nov. 31^th. Indira Gandhi Assassination.

Then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was brutally murdered by her own Sikh Guards.

Nov. 31^st to December 4.

Following Indira’s assassination, Cong party goons brutally dragged Sikhs out on streets and were set on fire. I saw this with my own eyes on Delhi streets. Over 3000 Sikhs who had nothing to do with Indira’s murder were burnt alive, only because they shared religion with those who killed Indira!

All this happened under Rajiv Gandhi’s watch.

Till date no one has been punished instead some of those who led Mobs and directed killing of Sikhs were rewarded with Minister Ship by Rajiv and subsequent Congress Governments. Sic!

Intervening night of 2 and 3^rd December. Bhopal.

On this fateful night over 15,000 men/women/ children and countless cattle /birds/animals breathed Poisonous methyl isocyanate while asleep and never woke up again. One of the biggest Industrial accidents it was.

Now, I recounted all above mentioned incidents/accidents because in all above there is a common link and that is: Congress. Indira Gandhi had popularized ‘Foreign Hand’ theory in about almost every thing where and when she wanted to deflect people’s attention from her own follies. It is the same party’s HAND which is visible.

Now, although Bhopal Tragedy wasn’t Congress made/engineered but the disaster management post Gas leak was a disaster of its own magnitude. Right from relief to investigating to apprehending culprits to even filing court case and bringing culprits to book- the HAND of Con party is all too visible.

Be it for Political reasons/gains or Monetary, Con party had/have no compunctions in shortchanging interest of people – so called Aam Adami – it claims to represent.

If CHACHA Ji’s singly minded pursuance of ‘his own tryst with destiny’, led to partition of Bharat. Then Indira’s cynical and manipulative politics of up man ship led to not only her own gruesome end but to most Horrendous Massacre of Sikhs. Prime Minion of Sonia calls Gujarat Post Godhra riots as Holocaust but keeps mum on this! Sic! (Read this please)

Rajiv Gandhi then Prime Minister not only presided over the Killings of Sikhs by party goons but justified it too. All those who led mobs to kill Sikhs were rewarded with Ministerial berths, Governors etc. 26 years has passed since but not one Culprit has been punished! Sic!

Arjun Singh as CM of Madya Pradesh then in 1984, personally ensured that Warren Anderson comes to no harm and was safely escorted out of country even when his complicity in Bhopal Tragedy was apparent to all. The same fossil minded Arjun Singh not long ago had called all Sikhs as murderers of Indira! Sic! (Read this)

Yesterday Bhopal court pronounced a judgment in the Bhopal Gas Tragedy. Expectantly it is ‘too little too late’. Why I say ‘expectantly’? Is because the case filed by CBI was diluted and filed under not so stringent laws, so this judgment was on expected lines, why blame the Judge? Blame lies elsewhere in Con party’s hand.

I am disappointed with Courts too. Had they wanted they could have expedited or minimum would have asked Government /CBI to file under stringent laws? After all Judiciary has every now and then shown their fangs what is called as ‘Judicial activism’!

I am not ranting against Con Party, but I write all this to make you realize how bad the things were and still are. This all I write in utter frustration as nothing has improved since then. And new government ‘allegedly’ led by Prime Minion of Sonia  is no better than earlier Con governments if not worst.

Noose waiting for Ajmal Amir Kasab and Afjal Guru

Finally the verdict in ‘26/11 Mumbai Mayhem’ has pronounced Lone Paki Terrorist arrested as guilty of massacre, waging war against nation etc. Honorable Judge has in his considered opinion sentenced him to death.

Ajmal Amir Kasab: To be hanged by neck till death. He has been awarded Four death sentences which is unprecedented in Indian judicial history.

But then, unprecedented was ‘Mumbai Mayhem’ too. Its sheer magnitude, planning and nos. of people butchered were second only to what happened in USA on 9/11.

After nearly 17 months Indians have got justice through a marathon legal process. Investigation agencies, prosecution and Honorable courts deserve some praise for delivering justice.

Though it is very much expected for the relatives of victims and/or fellow citizens to express some ‘satisfaction’ or ‘relief’, yet celebrations are bit too immature. NOT at all that I have any soft corner for the ‘Butcher of Mumbai’! No not at all. But simply because he is just a ‘symptom’ of a ‘Malaise’ which is so much deep rooted that it cannot be ‘cured’ by treating ‘symptoms’ alone. It needs a major surgery – and I mean major one.

Problem with most of us is we either do not want to call name of this ‘malaise’: which is ‘Islamic Terrorism’. Islam apologists simply deny this by mouthing platitudes such as “Islam is religion of peace” or our political correctness blinds us to see through it as what it is. Further- especially in democratic world- Muslims sheer no’s and their tactical voting patterns forces the Political parties – lest they lose Muslim votes- to look away from real problem and start looking for alleged ‘root causes’. Huh!

For knowing the root causes of ‘Islamic terrorism’ you need not do anything else but go and buy two books, The Quran and Hadith. Any dumb ass will know where the ‘root causes’ lies. Period. But this is not going to happen any time soon, so let us shift our focus back on ‘symptoms’.

Yesterday, most of us heard ‘bleeding hearts’ all over the 24X7 Nuisance Channels splitting hair over the deterrent factor of Capital Punishment and/or how capital punishment is against ‘Human rights’ and blah! Blah! Blah!

Let me start by saying that this blog strongly believes against killing any one for any reason. But at the same time also feel that ‘bowing against terror is inviting more terror’. Anybody who has killed ‘mercilessly’ men, women, children for no other reason but  ‘She/he’ believes in some obscure ideology and in pursuit of 72 virgin Houri and Kohl eyed boys- Is not a human in our eyes. And those who are ‘Killing Machines’ cannot be humans thus deserve no sympathies.

Nevertheless, we are a Nation ruled by law and the Fair Trial has proved that we are neither a ‘Banana Republic’ nor our courts function as ‘Kangaroo Courts’. Free and Fair verdict has been pronounced after giving Kasab all the time and chance and based on legally sound proofs. Now it is time it is ‘executed’ too.

Congress is better warned that Kasab and Afjal Guru are potential time bombs sooner we get rid of them better for all.

And yes one last thing, any attempt by Govt to identify both Kasab and Afjal with Muslims of India would be gross injustice to Muslims alone.

Hang both Ajmal Kasab and Afjal Guru by neck till they are dead.

LKM, IPL & 'Scary Clowns'.

It has been a week but the sordid IPL drama refuses to die down. What started as a Minister caught with his hands in jar and subsequently made to quit office has taken a bizarre turn.

My brief notes on some key issues.

1. It is stupid to equate Shashi and Modi as MSM has been trying to.

Shashi being MOS is accountable to citizens and since it is reasonably clear that he misused his office to benefit his lady friend is guilty in public eye. As for Modi, well he is accountable to authorities concerned if he has done some murky dealings.

If Modi is corrupt- if only for argument sake and since he doesn’t hold public office too – how does it absolve Shashi, who has misused public office!

Shashi had to go and did eventually, but he could have salvaged his reputation by resigning voluntarily. As for Mata Ji and Prime Minister Minion of Mata Ji’s stand on corruption is concerned- do not kid me please . Not long ago Prime Minister Minion of Mata Ji had felicitated fellow ‘country man’ of Mata Ji to flee away with slush money.

2. IPL issue rocks Parliament.

Raising IPL issue in Parliament would have made sense only if Shashi had not resigned. Then it would have been legitimate for MPs to question Shashi and his presence in the cabinet. But now it was a sorry spectacle to see MPs of all hues splitting hair on something which is anything but a matter of National Interest. Speeches by Laloos and alkies made Parliament and MPs look stupid not only to all Indians but to the entire World.

3. Media. Twists and Spins.

MSM legitimately has every right to highlight any issue which has element of public interest involved. IPL as a national attraction and Shashi as a minister both warranted attention and scrutiny of MSM. And to be fair, MSM did a good job and hope shall continue to put the entire IPL under microscopic scrutiny without sparing anyone.

BUT then here is the cliché. MSM would just stop short of naming anyone which/who could prove embarrassing for their favorite party and threaten this Govt.

NO. I am not making any wild allegation against the Main Stream Media. I am stating a fact please read on shall elaborate after couple of sentences since I am trying to make my arguments in a structured manner.

4. Hounding Lalit Kumar Modi.

a.)  Soon after Shashi was discarded to the dustbin of history, MSM and their political masters  shifted focus and their collective wrath is unleashed on LKM. LKM made the Govt it’s enemy by making public MOS Shashi’s ‘dangerous liaisons’ and ‘sweat money’ deals for ‘sweetheart’. It was LKM’s major folly. Although LKM drew first blood but he grossly misjudged CONgress party’s vendetta politics.

b.)   MSM too has joined this cacophony for two reasons. One- MSM know the public interest in IPL and Two- since MSM by hounding LKM need to justify and earn their Padam Shris they were awarded in advance  by Mata Sonia ‘Maino’ Gandhi.

5. Well! Is LKM a Saint?

I have no reason to believe so or otherwise till all facts are out in public domain. And no way am I defending him either. I am just making notes as I see things are unfolding. BUT it would be injustice to LKM if we ignore his efforts and enterprising skills to make IPL a leading Global Brand. Being a student of management, I salute him.

I believe if IT and ED do their work unbiased and without any malicious intent, he might come out clean. BUT then key words are UNBIASED, without any Prejudice and malicious intent.

Will it be so? Come on! None of us is so naïve.

6. How will the whole controversy end?

ONE basic fact.

IPL is too big a money machine for all, Cricket administrators, sponsors, cricketers, politicians, MSM, franchise owners and fans too. So IPL will stay as it is in the interest of all. I believe IPL also benefits many fringe players like Hospitality industry, Tourism, Travel and many many more. In short it does give an opportunity for everyone to benefit directly or indirectly.

MY PREDICTION.

You need not be a ‘Political Pundit’ to figure out how will this whole drama end. I stick my neck out and predict…

@ 2.) Outside public glare (but with complicit MSM quoting ‘secretive sources’ and leaking ‘selective disinformation’) these dossiers would then be used to blackmail and to force LKM being thrown out. Thus Mata Ji avenged. MSM pleased. BCCI Honchos back to business.

@ 3.) Govt would then Publicly announce some committee or other and probe would go on till cows come home- then soon a new issue would replace this one for ‘Tweepple’ to Tweet and for me to Blog.

Ps: Well, I think LKM too would be accommodated one way or another, after all he is too important and know really too much. But at the same time I am really worried too for LKM as he ‘really knows too much’. Politicians and vested interests do not really like those who know too much about them. This is most ‘scary part’.

Perfidious Media’ v/s Narrender Modi

Hate Modi is an industry and many have benefited from it (except State Congress). MSM Maharathis have earned selves ‘Padam Shris’ from Sonia ‘Maino’ Gandhi for defaming NaMo and for spreading lies.Some NGOs made a carrer out of it. But then truth has a habbit of surfacing and here too it surfaces, once again. Need we trust ‘Perfidious Media’ again?

My beloved countrymen,

Namaskar,

I am constrained to write to you with a deep sense of anguish. Since last eight years, canards have been spread against me. For the past one week, if we analyse the allegations leveled against me, then the truth will become evident. Truth cannot be suppressed. It is now my duty to place before you the facts that brings out the importance of understanding what the truth really is.

After the 2002 Godhra incidents, I had categorically said in the Vidhan Sabha and in public that no one is above the Indian Constitution and the law, even if he happens to be the chief minister of a state. These are not mere words. My actions have reflected this statement in its true spirit.  I assure you that this will be my stand in the future.

In spite of that, some vested interests, without losing a single opportunity and with malicious pleasure and without bothering to ascertain the truth based on mere whims and fancies, have been tarnishing the good image of Gujarat, my government and me.

Recently, there has been a systematic campaign to defame Gujarat through propagation of false reports titled ‘Special Investigation Team (SIT) summons Narendra Modi’; ‘Narendra Modi did not appear before SIT’ and ‘Modi has shown disrespect to Supreme Court and SIT’. Such baseless allegations are being leveled once again against me to defame Gujarat.

I am therefore compelled to place the facts before my countrymen.

FACTS:

As soon as newspapers began reporting that Modi has been summoned by the SIT, the government spokesperson immediately said that Shri Modi is bound by the law of the land and the Indian Constitution. He has always extended his cooperation to every procedure of law. And he is committed to do so in the future.

It is a matter of grave concern and needs investigation as to why and who started spreading lies that ‘SIT summons Narendra Modi on March 21, 2010′.

The purveyors of untruth failed even to think that March 21, 2010 happens to be a Sunday and a public holiday.

These purveyors of lies even did not once bother to check whether the key SIT officers, who are appointed by the Supreme Court, were present in Gujarat on March 21, 2010.

SIT had not fixed March 21, 2010 for my appearance. To say that I was summoned on March 21 is completely false. I shall respond to the SIT fully respecting the law and keeping in view the dignity of a body appointed by the Supreme Court.

The date of 21st March 2010 was invented by some vested interest and as a part of their effort to interfere in the due process of law. They wanted to paint me as a person who refused to respond to the SIT. This country has in the last twenty four hours witnessed a campaign of disinformation in which a section of the media became an instrument of the disinformers. I hope this section will now take corrective steps.

My beloved countrymen,

The people of Gujarat and this country have identified those who are defaming Gujarat continuously since 2002. But I want to tell the truth; spreading falsehoods has only one single purpose and that is to instigate people. It is a sinful action which will harm the working of a democratic state.  Seen in the backdrop of events in the last 24 hours, it shows that there is a nexus among the vested interests in spreading lies against me, in order to defame me. This machination has come unstuck and the people have seen through this charade.

The government of Gujarat has always honoured and cooperated with the investigative agencies, commissions and Supreme Court looking into Godhra and post-Godhra incidents.  And that is why I never thought of giving a public statement on this issue.

Despite unbearable pain, I decided to maintain silence in the belief that the due process of law would take its own course.

But now, as the lies reach a crescendo as never before, I am compelled to bring the facts before the countrymen. I also consider it my humble duty.

I hope the truth is not twisted by the purveyors of untruth to misguide the investigation. And I expect that the media would bring my deep pain and despair to the notice of the people.

It is the worst kept secrete that big names of Indian polity, Industry, Top Bureaucrats and Even Media Persons have stashed billions of Dollars/Euros/Francs etc in those Swiss Banks numbered accounts.

Corruption flows from top and trickles down to lower rung. Arrest corruption at top and no body at lower level can dare to get corrupt. BJP in the run-up to the elections 2009 had made claims to retrieve the ill-gotten monies of Indian stashed away in the safe lockers of Switzerland. BJP lost elections and so the issue died.

I fail to understand why BJP is quite on the Connection between KGB, Monies and Madame Sonia ‘Maino’ Gandhi. Why does BJP not take cudgels on the behalf of Billion Indians? Why are they silent even when there are ample proofs of Sonia’s involvement?

Now that the Sonia’s Prime Minion would do nothing which might harm His Master neither the 24X7 Prefidious Media would ask her any uncomfortable questions lest their ‘Secularism gets diluted. In any case these MahaRathis of MSM has already been bought over by awarding Padama Shris and Bhushans.

The BJP has taken up the secret Indian Swiss bank money issue. Does it seriously contemplate recovering the money? Or is it just a poll gimmick? Recall the party’s somersault on the Indo-US Nuclear-Deal. If the deal destroys national security, why have Arun Shourie and Yashwant Sinha not resigned? Are they political opportunists? Do they or don’t they really intend to deliver results on the Swiss money? If the BJP is serious about fighting corruption there is no dearth of issues. Take one glaring example.

On August 15, 2006 this scribe wrote: “Dr. Yevgeniya Albats is a Soviet journalist who …was appointed as member of the official KGB Commission set up by President Yeltsin in 1991. She had full access to secret files of the KGB. She authored a book, The State within a State: KGB and Its Hold on Russia …. On November 8 2006 I again wrote: “…Until now there has been only deafening silence from Mrs. Gandhi and the Congress party….If the Albats allegation published in a reputed research book is false, Mrs. Sonia Gandhi should promptly deny it. Otherwise, her silence could be perceived as assent.”

If Sachin is a hero- which indeed he is- then Captain Davendra Singh Jass is as great a hero if not Greater.

24X7 Lies

Needless to say that Indian Media especially the 24X7 TV News channels abandoned their primary duty of informing people and keeping a close eye on the Government and establishment- long ago. Long ago ‘Sec-Soc’ MSM realized that more than ‘ethics’ it is money which is more important. Money is made if you have power, power is derived from proximity to the ‘Powerful’ i.e. those who are in position to either reward/award or punish you.

Simply put, if you are close to the Govt. establishment, you are powerful. And power begets Money and more power. But to remain in the good books of powers to be, one need to compromise with ethics, and MSM has no qualms in doing that.

Just for your ‘enlightenment‘ I reproduce what Shri Shri Padam Shri Rajdeep Sardesai said. His own words, with my inputs.

Another reason for the problem is the changing self-image of the journalist, and his role in a democratic system. For a long time the journalist’s role was seen to be that of an independent observer of events. But observation alone can be rather tedious and not very financially productive either. So, over the years, the journalist has chosen to move from the margins of the fourth estate to being firmly on the centre stage, closer to the first estate (Read first family Soinia ‘Maino’ Gandhi’). Ideological corruption is as much a part in this process as anything else. But my this post is not about to tell you what games MSM play, you all know too well. This post is about a story which should have made the headlines and should have been debated threadbare, as the subsequent consequences are of national ramifications. MSM has been too busy in promoting ‘SRK’ and ‘His Name Is Khan’ that they have no time, energy or inclination to report anything else. This is their priority these days!

Thanks to some really Good, Alert and sincere bloggers, this issue has been brought to the notice of public.

To give you a quick review, One Mulla and his accomplice Guddu hack down 8 (all Hindus) poor farm laborers mercilessly in 1995 for failing to pay ransom of Rs. 10,000 each. Now as this is ‘rarest of rare’ cases logically these two (Mulla and Guddu) should have been awarded ‘capital punishment’ Na? Absolutely yes.

But Honorable Supreme Court overturned the death sentence citing the mitigating factor of poverty. This case is very important for the simple reason that it has the potential of influencing the criminal justice dispensation. But for Alert Bloggers Barabarindian and Reality Check India this news would have been buried in the pages of some news papers.

Read and ponder: Reality Check India’s Mulla Vs State of UP, Poverty, Death March, and Justice and Barabarindian’s Justice gets a Secular angle. Just read the ‘brutality’ of the crime. Both Reality Check and Barabarindians have enlightened take on the issue.

While MSM and their Padam Shris are more interested in making money and earning awards there are bloggers like Barabarindians, Reality Check and many more who are doing much better and selfless job in keeping the Nation informed. Kudos to them.

Instead of recognizing and appreciating the bloggers for their work MSM has nothing but contempt for us bloggers. Not long ago Padam Shri Barkhs Dutt Ji had made one hapless ‘Kunte’ not only withdraw a post (regarding MSM role during 26/11) but threatened him with law cases. Barkha Dutt Ko Gussa Kyon Aata Hai, we all know. Another day the Mighty Vir Sanghvi too had lamented against bloggers. These two are not alone but everybody in MSM has few pebbles to throw at the bloggers. So be it, damn we care.

But friends you now know who you can trust most: bloggers like Barabarindian, Reality Check or MSM?

Mumbai is on boil again, or so I am made to believe by the breathless dumb Nymphets and pea brained Morons on 24X7 ‘Sec-Soc’ screaming channels.

This time Shiv Sena ‘hooligans’ have given them enough long stick to beat with. As if the ‘Sec-Soc’ MSM was not already against the Hindus right through, SS provided them more reasons. Let us see the two issues involved.

1. SS and MNS’s diatribes against Non Marathi Manoos.

2. SRK and his Paki love.

I have already expressed my views on the point No.1: SS and MMS’s diatribes against Non Marathi Manoos. In this post I had condemned Raj unequivocally and in this post I had argued why only Raj can’t be accused alone. I ask readers to read these two posts and you might be surprised to see the other side of truth too.

Now point no. 2: SRK and his Paki love. Here it is interesting to note the indignation of Indian ‘Sec-Soc’ MSM. On this point I am totally in agreement with Shiv Sena or with anybody else who think that we can not engage Pakis in any which way unless they stop killing my fellow countrymen/women/children.

Why alone SRK? He might be promoting his film ‘His Name Is Khan’ for all we know. But any body else too whose heart bleeds more for Pakis should be ostracized socially.

I have always been cynical of this Indo-Pak bonhomie. This ‘Pappi-Jhappi’ walas are freeloaders who at the tax payer’s expense enjoy, Kababs, Mujara, exchange gifts, attend Paki Mushayaras and do Wah! Wah! Strangely no Indian artist ever gets an invite from Paki’s to perform in Land Of Pure Islam: Pakistan. Traffic is only one way. Huh!

But then this ‘Pappi-Jhappi’ gang is very resourceful one, time and again they find ways to keep their supply of Kababs and Mujaras on. This time they have floated this under the banner of ‘Aman Ki Asha’.

‘Aman Ki Asha’! Wow! Look at the name it self ‘Aman’ a Urdu Male Name. Aasha a Hindi Female name and it is ‘Aman Ki Aasha’. So friends Love Jehad is on right from the word go. Now look at these two media houses who are promoting it.  The Times Slimes of India (the one who can smell money any where and every where) and their Paki co-sponsorer ‘Jung’ Daily. JUNG! Urdu word means: war. Lo Kar Lo Baat!

This piece here in Pioneer has identified these usual suspects- ‘Pappi-Jhappi’ Gang. I quote from it with my own inputs.

If we want the world to treat Pakistan for what it is, then we should start practicing it. We must always recognise it as the ‘Terrorist State of Pakistan’ and never have any illusion that it is going to be any different. We should completely and comprehensively cut off all relations with Pakistan — economic, cultural, sports and all other aspects. Dawood Ibrahim-funded Bollywood may weep. South Africa was shamed and shunned for its policy of apartheid, so should Pakistan for practicing terrorism as a state policy. Unless we start completely boycotting the ‘Terrorist State of Pakistan’ we cannot ask others to do it. If we completely boycott the Pakistanis for a few years we will see the results. Their roots are Indic and not in Saudi Arabia.

Hope ‘Sec-Soc’ MSM listens to this sane advice.

If corporate India — including electronic and print media — starts practicing it, then we can see results in a few years. One hopes that India’s elite is listening and will not get carried away by asha for the demons.

Thanks God, India has still many Prudent Indians left who talk sense and keep the National Interest above all. Other wise our Prime Minister Minion of Sonia ‘Maino’ Gandhi would have no qualms in short changing the National Interest for few more ‘secular votes’, just as he shamelessly surrendered to Pakis not so long ago.

IPL, Pakistan and wailing Indian Media.

Welcome Sri Lankan Team, Pakistani Style.

It may be understandable for Pakistanis to cry themselves hoarse over non selection (or sale) of their cricketers in IPL auction, but more than Pakis it is Indian MSM’s cacophony which is absurd. I disagree with those bleeding heart secularists and ‘Sec-Soc’ MSM as they argue 1.) Pakistani players should not have been invited. 2.) Sport and politics should not be mixed.

Both arguments are erroneous and unsustainable. 1.) Had Pakistan been informed that they were not welcome; even then they would not have behaved any differently than now, and rather would that not have been more embarrassing for India and would not have invited criticism internationally? On the contrary they were invited and put on for sale but nobody bought them. Simple! It is that simple. IPL and their franchises are free to choose any one they like and they just exercised their choice –for whatever reason- so what is the big deal?

Second as for ‘Sport and politics should not be mixed’, it is stupid to even think so. Sport after all is an extension of war albeit with out blood shed. Sports have always been part of international politics and diplomacy. Boycott of South Africa due to apartheid policy of theirs or boycotts of Olympics at various times by various countries prove that. Sports – had always been and shall always be a useful extension of foreign policy, subtle but powerful in impact.

Frankly, I believe there is no point in engaging a country that has been not only at war with us but has sworn to bleed India by thousands cuts. No way can the hatred of Pakistan towards India be mellowed, least alone by playing cricket with them. Pakistan’s and Indian MSM’s wailing is idiotic if not funny.

It is a fact that Pakistan is current 20:20 champion so is the fact that they are the only team to have murdered (indeed!) or have BOB Woolmer (their couch) murdered during last world cup. I do not believe what ever the investigation said; here read why I call this murder. Here is one more example for Paki’s love for cricket. Must see this.

Finally! If that was a ‘snub’ to them (Pakis), so be it. I congratulate IPL franchisees for showing courage and doing what our Lame Prime Minister Minion and his govt should have done much earlier, at least after 26/11.

I for one can not cheer up a Paki player as long as my fellow citizens are being blown to pieces every now and then by their (Pakis)  fellow countrymen.

Shri Arun Jaitly On Liberhan Commission Report on Dec. 9/2009 in Rajya Sabha.

The Justice Liberhan Commission of Inquiry has now admittedly proved to be an exercise in futility. The title suit with regard to the disputed structure is pending before the Allahabad High Court. The criminal trials with regard to the purported incidents of 6th December, 1992 are pending before the Special Judge, Lucknow and Faizabad. The civil trial will decide the title issues and the criminal trial will address the culpability, if any. The Liberhan Commission was appointed by a Government in panic. This report, as is apparent from the Action Taken Report, is unimplementable. Several questions arise in the context of this report.

1) Why did it take 17 years for a Commission of Inquiry to formulate its recommendations and findings? Did the retired judge use the opportunity of heading this Commission to perpetuate his self-employment?
2) The manner and the leak of the report is as dubious as the report itself. The Home Minister says solemnly before the House that he or his Ministry did not leak the report. As the only other copies of the report are available either with the Judge or with de-facto drafts person of the report, the source of the leak has to be investigated.
3) Is the Report, as is apparent from the ATR, an unimplementable document? An analysis of the ATR reveals that except for lauding the political opinion expressed by the judge and agreeing with him, the other recommendations only relate to a proposal to legislate the Communal Violence (Prevention, Control and Rehabilitation of Victims) Bill, a subject over which the Central Government has no power to legislate or refer the matters to appropriate authorities like the UPSC, Election Commission and other statutory authorities.

Who has drafted the report ?

The report is hardly a document capable of being drafted by a retired High Court judge. The language is not judicial. The judge has unquestionably entered the political thicket. He has expressed an opinion on a variety of political subjects completely outside the Terms of Reference and outside the scope of a judicial training. The apprehension that the report is drafted by a person other than the judge himself is strengthened by the observation at page 999 where the judge thanks one Shri Harpreet Singh Giani and credits him in helping the judge in (a) analyzing the evidence (b) coming to conclusions (c) editing the report (d) adding and modifying the language (e) adding and modifying the ideas and (f) clearing the mess created by others.

Admittedly, it was Shri Giani who has analyzed the evidence, come to conclusions, edited the report, modified the language, added and modified the ideas. The judge seems only to have done the rest, if anything remained. The Liberhan – Giani report is the first Example of ‘Judgment Outsourcing’.

Does the report conclusively answer the key questions referred to the Commission ?

A Commission of Inquiry has to give a finding on basis of evidence. There has to be a link between the evidence produced and the conclusions reached. The learned judge admits in the report that there was no evidence of conspiracy or pre-planning lead by any party. (Refer page 15 para 7.4)

“No evidence was lead or information provided to the Commission with respect to the conspiracy or preplanning or the joint common enterprise, by any of these counsels”.

Page 775 para 130.5 –

“No documentary or direct evidence is possible in a conspiracy of this manner, nor unimpeachable and firm evidence of some action of planning of demolition available.”

Page 782 para 130.2

”Home Secretary, Godbole stated that there was no information of planning and as such it could not be inferred that there was a conspiracy of the Congress and BJP for demolition; this could not be accepted on the face of it particularly in the absence of any specific circumstances leading to such an inference.”

Page 992 para 178.34

“Neither the police nor the investigation team of the commission, despite the prolonged process, were able to identify any witness, nor produced any witness who could identify any of the demolishers, or lead any other evidence against suspects. Suspects were not even identified. Even after the unprecedented publicity throughout the long spell of inquiry nobody has come forward to advance the case or identify persons who physically carried out the demolition or the ones who plotted its demolition.”

Page 724 para 121.7

“In totality, it becomes obvious that some leaders were consciously kept out of the operational area or planning in order to protect them and preserve their secular credentials for later political use”.

After coming to this conclusion the judge fails to identify the leaders who were unaware of the design of the so-called planners. And still the judge goes on to blame the entire leadership of BJP and RSS for being aware and privy to the conspiracy.

At page 994 para 178.37 the Commission observes that “Important leaders of political parties, icons of movements, organizers of the movement continuously issued statements from time to time in relation to the conspiracy of demolition but no affidavit was filed before the Commission by them.”

In the White Paper published by the Govt. of India in 1993, which was placed before the Commission there was not even an averment of pre-planning or conspiracy involving senior leaders or organizations.

It is a settled law that the level of proof a Commission of Inquiry has to accept in fixing culpability has to be beyond reasonable doubt. In a case of no evidence, the Commission has come to the conclusion that the demolition was pre-planned and has named a large number of people, including those who were in no way connected with the incident of 6th December, 1992.

I am constrained to say that this Commission is a text book illustration of what a Commission should not be. A Junior judge of the Punjab & Haryana High Court is picked up to head the Commission. The only credentials of the judge at the time of his appointment was his proximity to the then Law Minister. It has frequently been said that there are two categories of judges – “those who know the law and those who know the Law Minister” This judge fell in the latter category. His knowledge of the Queen’s language was somewhat limited. He therefore needed the ghost writer to analyse the evidence, come to conclusions, modify the language and ideas. He used the 17 years tenure of the Commission to perpetuate an employment for himself. He probably wanted to use the conclusions and findings as an application for future employment. The report of the Commission would itself demonstrate that this truth investigator had turned into a political pundit.

Does this Report go beyond its terms and errs on basic facts?

The Liberhan Commission is a compilation of howlers and mistakes as is evident from the following :

1) Page 282 of the Report gives a compilation of 8 names of leaders of Ayodhya movement whom no role could be attributed to except participating in negotiations. The list includes two alleged supporters of the movement who are well known historians viz. Prof. R.S. Sharma and Prof. D. N. Jha. Both are Left leaning historians who presented the case of Babri Masjid Action Committee in the dialogue. The list of those who participated in the movement (P 270) includes Additional DGP Intelligence, Col. B.S. Zaidi (BMAC representative) Devraha Baba, Jagdambika Pal etc. Read the absurd list of Muslim Leaders on Page 279. This will only prove that the report suffers from factual hallucinations. The Commission also gets the date of Gandhiji’s assassination wrong (page 69). He even regards Veer Savarkar as the founder of the RSS and Dr. Hedgewar as his successor (page 562)

2) On page 566 the Commission in para 85.14 goes beyond the scope of inquiry and accuses – “Shri Din Dayal Upadhyay impliedly and by his conduct agreed with MA Jinnah’s theory that Hindus and Muslims were two separate nations”. He then quotes from Deen Dayal Upadhyay to the effect that “Muslims are not a minority community; they are a nation. They must have their independent land and their own State.” He therefore compares the BJP philosophy to that of Mr. Jinnah. This subject matter was privately obtained by the Commission. The fundamental mistake he made was that the entire paragraph was never said by Shri Deen Dayal Upadhyay. This is a quote from M.A. Jinnah which he puts in the mouth of Deen Dayal Upadhyay and then compares his philosophy with that of Jinnah. This is precisely what happens to a judge with no understanding of politics who tries to don the role of a political pundit.

3) The judge has a strong bias on certain issues. On page 556 he indicts political leadership for greed. “for their individual aggrandizement through repression, misguidance, acquiring power through mass means and improper reliance on philosophies such as Hindutva, Mandal, son of soil etc.”

4) The bias of the judge is further apparent in his recommendations where on page 970 para 173.8 and 173.9 he calls for a review of the recruitment procedure of the bureaucracy. He wants only excellence in certain areas to be a criteria for recruitment. He wants the postings to be done only on merit and not on casteist or regional basis. Who authorized this judge to carry on a tirade against social justice and Mandal Commission which has been unanimously accepted in this country? The Government has done a dis-service to this nation by mentioning in its ATR that the UPSC is examining changes in the recruitment process of officers and this recommendation was also communicated to the UPSC.

5) The Commission uses the report to indict the entire leadership of this country. –

Pg 540 paras 79.3, 79.4 and para 79.5

“The loss of political neutrality and the convenience with which justification can be found for every action has rendered all objectives of peaceful civilized society as enunciated by intellectuals, leaders, philosophers, thinkers since ancient times, obliterated…..

The law – common or constitutional, morals, ethics, epics and everything else is being examined in the scales of politically desirable results. It is immaterial whether those results are legitimate or healthy for democratic governance. Every one is out to become politician rather than a statesman.

The politician has become the epitome of the proverbial rags-to-riches story.

The common Indian has formed the firm belief already that the ills that face us can be traced to the political leadership and can be cured by a voluntary reform in the political parties and their leadership itself.”

On Gulzari Lal Nanda and Devraha Baba

The judge chooses to condemn whoever he desires to and that too without evidence. There is no mention of the former Prime Minister, Shri Gulzari Lal Nanda in evidence. Yet the judge choses to refer to him by saying –“Prof. Rajinder Singh, RSS leader, Dau Dayal Khanna, Gulzari Lal Nanda, the die-hard Hindus, in connivance with people with similar thoughts, started conceiving and exploiting the local dispute at a national level, may be for their selfish political needs or for achieving their old theory of Hindu Rashtra.” (Page 336) The Commission has no concern for truth. He is willing to go by giving irresponsible statements. On page 427 para 69.22 he says “open threats by exhorting the dacoits to take to arms for Ram temple were made by Ashok Singhal, Devrah Baba, Harish bhai etc.” The Judge fixes responsibility on Devrah baba for leading the country to communal discord on page 958and 959. This is notwithstanding the fact that Devrah Baba, a highly revered person had died in the year 1990, much prior to the alleged incident.

The report makes an interesting fairy tale. The Commission indicts the District Judge of Faizbad for directing the opening of the locks of the disputed site in 1986 (page 87). The Commission is convinced that the judge was inspired by a monkey to pass the judicial order since the monkey always accompanied Mr. Pandey, the District Judge of Faizabad.

The Evidence against Mr. L.K. Advani

The key question was that whether Mr. L.K. Advani and other senior BJP leaders made repeated requests to a small section of Kar Sewaks who had climbed up to the disputed structures, not to demolish it and come down. The Commission considers these appeals made by Shri L.K. Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Ashok Singhal, Vijay Raje Scindia HV Sheshadari etc. (page 255) as having been made either in earnest or for media’s benefit. The Commission contrives a curious logic that an appeal was made to the kar sewaks to come down from the domes but no appeal was made not to enter the Garb Grih. Therefore the hidden intention was to demolish the structure. The judge conveniently forgets the evidence given to the CBI in relation to the charge sheet by a lady IPS officer deputed as Mr. L.K. Advani’s PSO that he requested Uma Bharati to go to the structure to persuade the kar sewaks to come down. In fact Shri Advani insisted on going himself but could not go because the security officers including the PSO refused to take him there in order to avoid a possible conflict with the kar sewaks who had climbed on to the dome. Voluminous evidence of witnesses who have testified to the same effect of the appeals of senior leaders has been completely ignored by the Commission. While ignoring this evidence of the Lady Officer on page 507 with regard to another questions he says – “There is no reason to disbelieve her on these facts since as the security officer attached to LK Advani she had unrestricted access to all the happenings…..”

Did the Commission have a bias against the temple being built at the Ram Janamasthan ?

The Commission at page 23 of the report accepts Ayodhya as the birth place of the Hindu god Ram and therefore a holy city. He accepts at page 63 that – “yet namaz was not offered at the disputed structure since 1934”. He does not contest the finding of 1885 by a British judge FEA Chalmers in a civil appeal “It is most unfortunate that a masjid should have been built on a land sacredly held by hindus and as that occurred 356 years ago it is too late to remedy the grievance. (Page 97) “The judge accepts on page 561 that “the history books produced before Commission as well as the White Paper issued by the Govt.of India and BJP and also contentions by various counsels are unanimous that in 1528, the Emperor Babar ordered Mir Baqi, his Commander to erect a mosque at Ayodhya.” And yet his bias is apparent at page 547 where he says – “The demand for construction of the temple deprived the Hindu religion of its secular, multi-religious and multicultural credentials of the well reputed Hindu philosophy and the thoughts generally prevalent.” The judge ostensibly makes this entire narration of circumstances as leading up to 6th December, 1992. If admittedly Ayodhya is perceived to be the birth place of Lord Ram, if Mir Baqi converted the temple into a mosque, if for over 500 years a struggle for a temple was on, how could the demand for restoration of temple be anti- secular and the demand for maintaining forcible occupation of a mosque be secular. It is precisely this perversion in the concept of secularism that the Ayodhya movement was aimed at exposing. The truth investigator turned political pundit suffered from the same perversion.

Malafide error relating to Shri Atal Behari Vajpayee

The Commission was more loyal than the king. The Commission has committed a fundamental error in relation to its finding with regard to Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Little did the Commission realize that Shri Vajpayee is a tall national leader of proven credibility. The Commission of Inquiry Act in section 8B clearly mentions that if the Commission is of the opinion that the conduct of a person is required to be inquired into or that his reputation is likely to be affected, the Commission shall give to that person a reasonable opportunity of being heard.

The Commission on page 958 gives a list of persons including Shri Vajpayee and Shri Devrah Baba who are culpable for creating communal discord. There are at least 30 people out of 68 to whom admittedly no notice was given under section 8B. While the Commission on page 942 states that leaders like LK Advani, Shri A.B. Vajpayee and Shri Murli Manohar Joshi would have known the designs of the Sangh parivar, they are pseudo moderates. Obviously in trying to indict Mr. Vajpayee the Commission went for an overkill little realizing that Mr. Vajpayee had a high credibility. In that process the Commission shot itself in the foot and hurt its own credibility. Was it any part of the Commission’s job to find a political response to the BJP’s use of Phrase ‘pseudo Secular’? It is not only in Shri Vajpayee’s case, the commission has chosen to indict several leaders including many of the Muslim community without issuing a Section 8B notice to them. The report in so far as it hurts reputation of people without a Section 8B Notice is non-est.

On the Role of Central Govt.

The Commission was obviously kind to its appointing authority. The burden of its argument is that since the central government did not receive a report from the Governor whose judgement was badly flawed, the Central government was helpless in the matter of invoking Article 356. The Commission did not issue a notice to the Governor. It indicts the Governor but without a notice under section 8B. Shri PV Narasimha Rao authored a book titled ‘Ayodhya 6th December, 1992.’ The book has been published after his demise. At page 170 of the book, Shri Narasimha Rao reproduced the letter/report of the Governor wherein he categorically stated that ‘the possibility of demolition of the structure could not be ruled out.’ Obviously, the Commission wanted to be more charitable to his appointing authority, Shri Narasimha Rao. He even concealed the existence of a report. Even otherwise the argument of the Commission that the existence of a report was a condition precedent for invoking Article 356 by the Central Government is specious. The Commission completely ignored the words “or otherwise” in Article 356.

Strictures against Constitutional authorities

The Judge presiding over Commission is a bitter man. He was extremely keen to be elevated to the Supreme Court. Despite his keenness, members of the Supreme Court collegium did not consider it appropriate to recommend his name. This was his last opportunity to get back at the Supreme Court. He departs from the principle of inter institutional courtesy and indicts the Governor of UP, High Court of UP, an observer of Supreme Court and even the Supreme Court itself. At page 935 the Commission opines –

“For instance, the intransigent stance of the High Court of Uttar Pradesh, the obdurate attitude of the Governor, the inexplicable irresponsibility of the Supreme Court’s observer and the short-sightedness of the Supreme Court itself are fascinating and complex stories, the depths of which I must not plumb.”

The Commission is unaware of the basic courtesies and constitutional restraints imposed upon senior constitutional functionaries. The Commission ignores the requirement of section 8B and decides to indict superior constitutional authorities even without a notice.

Who were present on 6th December, 1992 ?

The Commission records the presence of every person in Ayodhya on 6.12.1992 (page 743). Prominent amongst those the Commission names who were admittedly not present. Balasaheb Thakre who was in Mumbai, Kalyan Singh, Chief Minister, UP who was in Lucnow, Rajinder Gupta, Uma Nath Singh,Lalji Tandon, Brahm Dutt Dwivedi ministers in UP Govt. who were in Lucknow, Kusha bhau Thakre, S.S. Bhandari, Sikander Bakht who were in Delhi and Shri Prabhat Kumar Chief Secretary UP who was in Lucknow. Where did the Commission get all this erroneous facts from. The Commission never bagged this factual narration and conclusions on any evidence but got it from some extraneous source.

How the Commission and the Government procured evidence ?

There is a Central government witness – a journalist named Raman Kirpal. He had purportedly deposed before the Commission and the Commission has relied on his affidavit and evidence. In 29 November, 2009 issue of the weekly magazine ‘OPEN’ Raman Kirpal has written an article titled “My Crippled Testimony”. Shri KIrpal’s article amongst others states “ The CBI officials gave me a date for deposition in New Delhi. I reached there right on time. They showed me an affidavit and asked me to sign……… During the cross examination I was asked to reply in “Yes’ or ‘no’. The format was so tight you could not explain anything. For instance, I was asked whether BJP ‘s LK Advani gave any speech at the dias asking the Kar Sewaks to demolish. I said ‘no’ but………. The lawyer interrogating me immediately shut me up… just reply in ‘yes’ or ‘no’ he said………… The tight format of the cross examination and my status as CGW 24 undermined several things which should have put the Central government of PV Narasimha Rao in a spot….. What surprises me that the Commission rescues the Central Government in its conclusions it says “The Central Government was crippled by the failure of intelligence agencies to provide an analysis of the situation. …..

This is my truth as a reporter. My affidavit as CGW 24 still stands but it is a crippled truth. There was much more that I could have wanted to say……..”. Did this Commission function as a Kangaroo court?

Recommendations of the Commission on subjects beyond its jurisdiction.

(a) The Commission has recommended (page 966) that “the next logical conclusion must therefore be that the government which is formed on the premise of religion or has religion on its agenda can be barred.” This is not constitutionally permissible. This is a new jurisprudence espoused by the Commission. How can a government be barred?

(b) The Commission has recommended that there must be a body constituted to look into the working of the Constitution. Perhaps the Commission was blissfully unaware of the fact that the Committee headed by Justice Venkatchaliah has already given a detailed report to the Government. The Commission at page 970 recommends a review of the Recruitment policy of the government into the civil service. He wants merit alone to be the criteria and not a caste or regional basis. Read in the context of the Commission’s earlier recommendation on Mandal Commission it is clear that the Commission suffers from caste bias. The Commission has recommended (page 971) that civil servants should be barred from holding office of profit after retirement. It is indeed a paradoxical recommendation from a judge who retired long ago and has enjoyed 48 extensions recommends no retired civil servant should be given any post retirement assignment. The Commission has gone into the question of Centre State relations (page 976) AND RECOMMENDED THAT NO State government can claim that it acts only for the persons or people within the boundary of the State and discriminate against others. While not disagreeing with the Commission on this, the question was not within the jurisdiction of the Commission. Was he dealing with Ayodhya incident or going into larger issue – the question of Centre State relation. Similarly the Commission recommends (page 976) party affiliations must come to an end the moment a legislator is elected. The Commission now wants the Tenth Schedule of the Constitution prohibiting defections to be repealed. Was this within the terms of reference of the Commission?

(c) The Commission obviously dislikes the media. (page 980 ). The Commission recommends that there must be a permanent authority to hear complaints against “mischievous journalists”. He wants a licensing regime back not in the industry but for joining the profession of journalism.

(d) The Commission at page 979 states as under:-

“It is therefore my recommendation that a statutory national commission be composed of acknowledged experts to delve into the questions of the provenance of historical monuments, artifacts etc. and their determination should be deemed to be definitive and final.”

The word provenance means — “the history of the ownership of the object specially when demanded or authenticated”. The Oxford dictionary of difficult words defines provenance as a place of origin or the earliest known history of something. Let this test recommended by Justice Liberhan be applied to the disputed structure at Ayodhya where already a report of the ASI exists indicating the existence of a temple before 1528. The Government in its ATR has rightly said in para 6.6 that a special Commission is not required for the said purpose as the ASI is already undertaking this mandate. The Allahabad High Court had asked the ASI to examine the site and the recovered stones from the erstwhile structure and submit to the High Court its expert opinion. The ASI in the year 2003 submitted its report to the Allahabad High Court where it concludes on basis of entire evidence. “Now viewing in totality and taking into account the archaeological evidence of a massive structure just below he disputed structure and evidence of continuity in structural phases from the tenth century onwards upto the construction of the disputed structure along with the yield of stone and decorated bricks as well as mutilated sculpture of divine couple and carved architectural members including foliage patterns, amalaka, kapotapali doorjamb with semi-circular pilaster, broken octagonal shaft of black schist pillar, lotus moif, circular shrine having pranala (waterchute) in the north fifty pillar bases in association of the huge structure, are indicative of remains which are distinctive features found associated with the temples of north India.”

This report was preceded by a Ground penetrating Radar Survey (GPRS) which also came to same conclusions.
Did a temple exist at the site prior to 1528 ?

The Commission has categorically given an opinion that Ayodhya is perceived as the birth place of Lord Rama and that Mir Baqi constructed a mosque at the disputed site in 1528. The crucial question is what is the historical character of the site in question. Admittedly, the site has great religious and cultural significance to our civilization and nation. Overwhelming evidence exists about the existence of a temple at the birth place of Lord Rama at Ayodhya. This evidence is in the form of archaeological evidence, GPRS evidence and accounts of various travelers who contemporaneously wrote their accounts.

………. The universally revered Sikh Guru, Guru Nanak Dev visited Ayodhya along with his associate ‘Mardana’. Contemporaneous Sikh literature finds a reference to the Guru’s communication to Mardana. Bhai Bala wali janam Sakhi also has a detailed reference to this visit. The visit took place between 1508 and 1510. The eighth successor of Guru Nanak Dev’s eldest son Lakhmi Chand Ji Baba Sukhi Ram Bedi in his works has referred to Guru Nanak Dev’s darshan of Ram Janamasthan.

The historical sketch of the Faizabad in Zila Faizabad refers to the existence of the Janamasthan at Ayodhya. It categorically records that at the janamasthan Emperor Babar built a mosque in 1528.

The Earlier Travels in India written by William Foster refers to Ayodhya where the ruins of Ram Chander acknowledged as an Indian God were found.

The Gazetteer of Awadh refers to the Janamasthan as the place where Ram Chander was born.

The Geography of Hindustan written by Father Jose Tieffn-Thacer Is still available in French. A copy of it was obtained from France and got translated into English under directions of the Court. The said travel refers to Ayodhya where a temple had been constructed on elevated bank of the river. It then refers to a debate as to whether it was demolished and converted into a mosque by Aurangzeb and then corrected to say that others believed that it was actually constructed by Babar.

There have been several struggles in the past 500 years for the restoration of the Janamasthan. The existence of a mosque built after desecration of the temple has never been accepted by the Hindus. The past 500 years have witnessed repeated struggles for rights of the Hindus at the Janamasthan.

In the later part of the 19th century the Nihangs had occupied the structure for a reasonable long period on the premise that Guru Nanak Dev had performed his worship at the site. In 1934 the Hindus were fined by the British Government for some damage caused to the structure during an agitation. There are judicial orders dating back to 1885 in relation to the legal and judicial dispute.

The principal question is – What was the original character of this structure? Unquestionably, the original character was a temple. It was no ordinary temple. It was a temple built at the place believed to be the Janamasthan of Lord Ram. No religious denomination can ever accept a conquest of such a sacred place. The historical, archaeological and GPRS evidence is entirely against the historical vandalism of 1528. The next 500 years have seen agitation for recapturing and litigation over the issue. Since 1934 no namaz has been performed and puja goes on regularly.

The ability of Indian society at dispute settlement is at stake. The judicial institutions have been unable to decide the issue for decades. The ideal dispute resolution is through negotiations.

A fair secular society requires equality of all. A secular order is not irreligious. It is not anti-religion. It is respect for all religions. Protection of legitimate rights of the minorities is unquestionably a test of a secular society. At the same time the majority cannot live for centuries with a feeling of reverse discrimination. The history of the past 500 years has shown that the majority has been denied its right to build a historical temple at its most revered place. The Home Minister has framed the wrong question that it is a choice between inclusiveness and divisiveness. Does your inclusiveness exclude the religious aspiration of the majority for the sake of vote bank politics. We reject your ‘Vote bank inclusiveness’ as we reject the LIberhan report. We stand for “Justice for all, with neither discrimination nor reverse discrimination”.
