Maharani Gaytri Devi the ‘Most beautiful Woman’ once described as ”a dream in sari and jewels” left for heavenly abode on 29th. Leaving behind some many memories.
Gaytri Ji was not only the ’epitome’ of beauty but also a daring personality. Thrice a MP she dared Jawahar Lal too in Lok Sabha.
As a true lover and appreciator of beauty in what ever form and of kind; I lament the loss.
But then, all good things come to an end.
@ 90 she was still young to warm any ones heart.
Goodbye ‘Queen of Beauty’. For sure, Gods too would be pleased to see her back; for full 90 years Gods too would have missed the ‘enchanting beauty’ she is.
May her soul rest in peace, Amen!

Very nice tribute…
Though, I don’t see her purely from “beauty” point of view. Her “royalty” was more visible in her personality than her “beauty”.
There have been hundreds of Indian women more beautiful than her: those who never sought fame and publicity. While Maharani did love to enjoy name and press coverages.
What I really appreciate in her is that she maintained her “dignity” which is so easy to lose when one is as Rich, Powerful, Glamorous, and Western, as Gayatri Devi was.
She was sent to jail for full 5 months by dictetorial Indira Gandhi. She had married a man (prince) who had two previous wives. Still, she kept her dignity intact and kept “growing”. May she always be in peace.
