National Interst? What? Sonia's Interest is what matters: MMS
The credentials of Shri G Parthasarthi are beyond reproach, especially in matters related to ‘foreign affairs’ he is an authority. G Parthasarthi is apolitical, unbiased and most importantly does not carry any ideological baggage and neither does he have an axe to grind unlike the Sec-Soc media and ‘Sonia stooges’ in MSM. I always look up to Shri Parthasarthi for a clear perspective on matters related to ‘foreign policy’, especially when it is related with Pakistan.
The abject surrender by the MMS and his team of worthies at Sharm – el- Sheikh is what Parthasarthi calls as ‘Sharm -less- Surrender’ and this sums it all up and very aptly. No need to say anything more here, I leave that to the ‘foreign affairs experts’ to enlighten us.
Since after this ‘Shame Less Surrender’ MMS is back and has been facing flak – rightly so- from all quarters. There is an outrage and people are angry about the sell out and that ‘too’ to Pakistan. The new entrant to the Sonia family owned ‘secular party’, MOS foreign affairs Shashi Tharoor dismisses it as just…
“It’s all very well for the people to say that somehow India’s interest was compromised by a few words on a piece of paper that is not a legal document,” said Tharoor.
“It (the joint statement) is a diplomatic paper that is released to the press different from legal papers,” he maintains.
Tell me again that this man ran for UNO Secretary General’s post!
Coming back to the ‘Shame Less Surrender’ to Pakistan and the subsequent reaction in India, I wonder what all this annoyance is about! Is it the first time that the prime minister (and all Congress men/women) has sold out India’s advantage to Pakistan in hope of consolidating and harvesting ‘secular votes’ during elections!
Foreign policy for any country is a serious issue and is taken with utmost sincerity. Only the ‘National Interest’ of their country is supreme most and all the countries in the world including Pakistan recognizes it, but Alas! We Indians are an exception. We are the ONLY country in the World (and mind you BILLION + STRONG) who prides in self for capitulating and shortchanging our ‘strategic, military and even diplomatic’ advantages over Pakistan for petty gains. And ‘petty gains’ for whom? For ‘we the people of India’? NAY- but for the petty gains of one Family and for their stooges alone.
This is not an accusation hurled at Sonia or at her Prime Minion in anger or in a fit of rage. No. PM after PM from the Congress stable has blundered with such sickening frequency. The Congress has perfected and copyrighted it in the hope of garnering ‘secular votes’. Congress’s unstated policy /belief is that Pakistan must be placated anyhow if Congress is to appear secular in the eyes of the Indian Muslims. This is an affront to Indian Muslims too, if only they (Muslims) understand it. My charge is that the Congress has failed India time and again and at the cost of India’s National Interest.
This is just to refresh your memory of certain misdeeds committed (at our and our beloved nation’s expense) by the Prime Ministers from the ‘secular party’.
Starting from beginning (the root cause of all problems) Pandit J L Nehru (Chachaji) could just not suppress his urge and compromised on the Indian claim to Kashmir. He went on radio to announce and then on to UNO, despite the sane advice of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel against doing so. But then Chacha Ji had the propensity of using, in my dear friend Sandeep’s words,
“How a man whom a lot of liberals consider the “architect of modern India” allowed the wrong part of his anatomy to interfere in strategic decision-making.”
Chachaji did not stop here only, he went on and ‘traded off’ India’s historic and cultural influence over Tibet with the then Chinese PM for some hollow promise and see how China swallowed Tibet! Chachaji had big illusions of being a ‘World Leader’ so some shortchange of ‘National Interest’ in pursuance of that goal was ok with him.
Now I hold Shri Lal Bahadur Shastriji in high esteem, but even he too lost the strategic and military advantage over Pakistan in Tashkent, a deal brokered by the communist USSR. This was followed by the death of Shastri Ji @ Tashkent under not so clear circumstances.
Indira Gandhi – way back in 1971, whom Atal Ji then hailed as ‘Durga’ – is remembered and known ‘more’ for splitting Pakistan into two. As a matter of record Sam Manek Shaw drafted that victory and capturing 90,000 Pakistani soldiers alive was his ‘achievement’ and that too was squandered away by Indira ‘Durga’ Gandhi after the ‘infamous’ walk on Mall Road of Simla with wily Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
What did India gain except some hollow promises from Bhutto in exchange of these POWs (Prisioners of War)?
Not for nothing my Grandfather who served Indian Army then in these two wars, derided Congress Netas as ‘Gandhi Topis’ for squandering the military gains (at the cost of Soldiers lives) across the negotiating table to Pakistan for known only to them ‘gains’.
Prince is no different either.
What explains then the release of 90,000 (NINTY THOUSAND PAKISTANI SOLDIERS AS POW) could they not have been used as a bargaining tool to settle all and any disputes with Pakistan for once and all and ON OUR OWN CONDITIONS? What then made Indira to let go free these 90,000 Pakistani soldiers? And now their ‘progeny’ make such a hue and cry of releasing four Pakistanis in exchange of 200 lives brushing aside the exchange of FIVE terrorists for Saeed’s daughter Rubihya!!!!
But No, both father (Chachaji) and daughter did nothing in the larger interest of Nation but for their petty gains. Both were seriously myopic and self centered .As for poor Shastri Ji, he died in mysterious circumstances and I have nothing against him.
Had things stopped here would have still been of some commiseration. But no, we are doomed to be misgoverned by Congress. PV Narsimha Rao though considered as the best PM among the Congress stable, aborted Nuclear Tests presumably under US pressure. It was for ABV to defy even the omniscient and omnipresent US Satellites to conduct that when he became Prime Minister.
If Chachaji and the original Mrs. Gandhi – born Indian at least - played havoc with Indian National Interest, could then a Prime Minion under a ‘Reluctant Indian’ of ‘Italian origin’ do better? So why the hell this outrage!!!!!!!
After all 15% of India’s ‘secular’ population is to be kept in good humor for them to vote ‘en block’ during elections for the ‘secular party’ and voting ‘strategically’ against the ‘communal party’ – equating them (Indian Muslims) with Pakistanis is not an insult to them, but Secularism! And this ‘Secularism’ propounded by Chachaji and followed by other Congress men/women/Babes and Babes is the key to power.
MMS is toeing the same line as his predecessors did; and his ‘ Big Fart’ at Sharm – el – Sheikh is nothing unusual, just in line of compromising Indian National Interest at the altar of a ‘few secular votes’.
Shameless are they?
No, they were in power and have ‘managed/manufactured’ another win too.
Now it is to us ‘The Billion strong nation’ to be shame faced and feel betrayed by yet another Congress Pm @ our cost. As for Sonia’s Prime Minion: he sure has ensured his ‘pension’ and ensuing perks.
PI.
I raise and salute you Sir.
An Indian.

I am amazed how come a pro-CONgress newspaper is running this story.
Shame on SG and MMS
What a sick blog…what a sick picture to choose for the previous blog. How communally sick can you get? This is what has kept India from beinga superpower! People who think like this
what is to be done out here?.
The problem did not start with Sonia Maino……Naah the problem did not start there.
The problem started after 1857(The first war of Indian Independence) and in 1885.
AO Hume and other britishmen started the Indian national congress in 1885 as a means to educate the Indian masses of the benefits of colonial education and ultimately the colonial rule.
In fact Sonia Maino is not the first foreigner to be head of the INC. Read through the history and you will find plenty of them.
In fact, the first PM was no less than a foreigner since he had nothing to do with Indian culture or traditions.
The problem then started with the so called father of the nation who returned from South Africa after being an abject failure in protecting the rights of Indians over here.
The naked fakir (as rightly called by Churchhil) was an immoral man to the extremes.
A known paedophile, a womaniser (read the book :Gandhi: Behind the Mask of Divinity by G. B. Singh), a man who
- had sex while his father was dying.
- who reportedly abused and beat his wife.
- who tortured his wife by not having sex with her for decades.
- who had some kind of strange experiments where he used to sleep with naked women and naked children in order to test his chastity.
Anyway, coming back to the point….This Naked Fakir who collaborated with the British to
- consolidate British rule in India
- Deflect public attention from the true revolutionaries in freedom movement namely Bhagat singh, Ambedkar, Veer savarkar, Bal Gangadhar tilak, Vivekananda and last but not the least Subash Chandra bose.
Do you know what is common between these men and INC/Gandhi…….All these patriots were hated and cheated by none other than the naked fakir.
This naked fakir was beaten up by Muslims in South Africa for apparently being a traitor of them in protecting their rights.
The sound beating created a permanent fear in the mind of the naked fakir about Muslims.
This fear lead to supporting their rights for the Khilafat movement and for the partition of India.
Gandhi had no special liking for the Muslims. He only “Feared” them……He had no special fear from the Hindus BTW…(Which ultimately caused his death).
Anyway this Naked Fakir and Indian National congress did the greatest crime in history when they asked the remaining Muslims to stay back to India even after the partition of 1/3rd of the country.
Not many people know, but those Muslims who are currently in India voted for partition and a separate nation in 1937 and these people are still currently enjoying a good life in India.
In fact, those people in Pakistan actually voted for a united country during the 1937 elections.
During his speech in Parliament Sardar vallabhai patel said to the Indian Muslims that “You have got what you wanted. You have got a separate state and remember, you are the people responsible for it, and NOT those who remain in Pakistan. you led the agitation. you got it. what is that you want now?. In the majority Hindu provinces, you the Indian Muslims led the agitation. You got the partition and now again you tell me and ask me to say for the purpose of securing the affection of the younger brother that I must agree to the same thing, to divide the country again in the divided part.
For Gods sakes understand that we have also got some limits of patience ” .
To understand the current problems of India, we need to go back into the History since 1857.
Because it is History from which we have to learn the lessons and for the patriots and Hindus in India , It is the history what we are precisely ignoring !.
-
Welcome to the Dictatorship of Sonia Maino
- Rigged elections of 2004 and 2009.
- Media bought out.
- Election commission bought out.
- Supreme court and President of India bought out.
Hail the queen of India.
A point very well raised. I read about it and became uncomfortable. And the worst: my worst fears had come true.
I see the origin in the last election campaigns when BJP rightly branded Manmohan Singh as the “Weakest PM Ever”. Now since he happened to become PM again (without fighting elections) after the election results were gifted to Congress in a surprise for all, he thought this was the right time to “act as a brave man”.
Didn’t we wonder why he snubbed Pakistan verbally in his speeches? It seemed all was going well. But I wondered if this “pseudo bravery” will really do something good? And we see the results.
Just in order to “reach to agreements” and to make “milestones”, just to show as a “result oriented govt” which “acts” nor merely “talks”, just in order to be “real” brave, the govt has given away the gun in the hands of Pakistanis.
Now Pakistan has proved that India interferes in its internal matters.
This is called: Josh me Hosh Kho dena.
As such I think there couldn’t be any better PM when it comes to Foreign Affairs – like AB Vajpayee. Even BJP has better foreign policy than Congress wallas. Congress govts have disastrous foreign policies, we already saw what Rajiv G did in Srilanka. And we are paying the price.
Btw, if we had a good and effective foreign policy, the only Hindu nation called Nepal won’t have fallen in the hands of atheists.
ohh there are more bigoted people here! This blog seems to foster them! Intolerance!
The way a section of media is projecting this issue is very sad. They are projecting as if BJP is creating a sin by questioning the GOI over this let-away.
I see that the columnists in the press who are not professional wage earners in papers, have come out with very clear and prudent review on this matter. But on front pages, some papers are giving it a petty political look of BJP Vs Congress. It should not be done.
Baluchistan covers 43% of Pakistan’s land! But it is the least populous province. And B. Liberation Army has been trying to free it as a nation. It would be good to see Pakistan divided as it would then reduce problems for India. It is so easy for Pakistan to keep accusing India of helping BLA, given our history (Bangladesh). I think if they don’t keep themselves in control, the next time there is an Indo-Pak war, we should think about letting Baluchistan free along with getting back our land illegally occupied in J&K. (Of course this can’t happen under Congress rule, which wants the problems to remain unsolved for political gains). So if Baluchistan forces a thing on India, India should consider if making the accusation true would help.
But for all this, we need a clear and wise foreign policy, something that the Congress will never get correct.
Here is a good article about Hinglaj Mata Temple in Baluchistan.
Hingol temple symbolises Baloch secularism

Hinglaj Mata is a Hindu temple in Hinglaj, on the Makran coast in the Lyari district of Balochistan in Pakistan. Legend has it that when goddess Sati, the consort of god Shiva burnt herself in response to her father’s anger at her for not inviting Shiva to a ceremony. Hindus believe that the head of Sati fell in the area of Hinglaj Mata in Baluchistan, present-day Pakistan. Thus, this area is a very significant region in the Hindu region and a revered pilgrimage site.

Old Boys Rule this Govt
——————————–
Given the instability in the neighbourhood, and the complex global scenario, it might be that our challenges are even more daunting than in the past. In this context, it is worth investigating the background of the three men who have primary responsibility for our foreign policy. These are Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Foreign Minister S.M. Krishna and National Security Adviser (NSA) M.K. Narayanan.
Two things are common to these men — their age, and their relative lack of experience in foreign policy.
Krishna is 77 years old. He has never before served in a Union Cabinet. His political career has been spent wholly in his home state, Karnataka.
M.K. Narayanan is 75. Unlike his predecessors as NSA (such as J. N. Dixit and Brajesh Mishra), he does not come from a Indian Foreign Service background. A career officer of the Indian Police Service, he ended up as the director of the Intelligence Bureau. Like Krishna, his lack of experience in the field is conspicuous.
Manmohan Singh certainly has a more global orientation than his colleagues, yet he is not as personally interested or invested in foreign policy as some others (such as Jawaharlal Nehru). Also going against him is his age (he will turn 77 in September), and his health — after two heart by-pass surgeries, he cannot as easily stand the strain of regular foreign travel as a man 20 years younger.
At the risk of being accused of ‘age-ism’, one must ask whether the recent misjudgements in our dealings with Pakistan and the United States are completely unconnected with the age of our principal negotiators. For the worrying thing is that the prime minister, the foreign minister and the NSA are all the wrong side of 75. In the rocky ocean of global politics, the Indian ship of State can carry one old man, perhaps even two. But three?
(A lot of hype was that Congress and UPA Govt is “Young”. Now see that all 3 guys making a mess out of Baluchistan issue and our foreign policy, are 75+ and going older…)
I see that Saurav has put up some excerpts (out of context of this post) which are abusing Gandhi ji. My comments on his accusations:
Gandhiji:
- had sex while his father was dying
=> The world knows of this incident only because the truth-speaking Gandhiji had the guts to tell this to all others. How many of us have the guts to reveal such incidents which are shameful to us? He repented for his lustful action which happened due to young age, and we see Gandhi being built as a man in front of us.
- who reportedly abused and beat his wife.
=> We can’s use such words for him. Initially he didn’t treat his wife well, but it was not abusing and beating up. He reformed himself later on.
- who tortured his wife by not having sex with her for decades.
=> This can’t be called torture, his wife didn’t accuse him of doing this on her. It was by mutual consent because Gandhi ji believed in brahmcharya even while being married. A lot of learned and holy souls in India have abstained from sex even while being married, and Gandhi ji didn’t do something weird. It happened with consent between him and his wife.
- who had some kind of strange experiments where he used to sleep with naked women and naked children in order to test his chastity.
=> This is baseless propaganda and we should be careful not to say things like these which are propagated by Gandhi-haters.
Gandhi ji was a man who built himself. He was just a simple and common man. His life is an example in front of us and in front of our generations to come, as to what we can make out of our lives. How no condition is bad enough.
He is an example of how much a “human effort” can make a change in this world.
So grateful that we are born in the same country and land and dharma which Gandhi ji also belonged to.
@saurav
Gandhi only asked that there be no partition to begin with. Once the partition was decided upon, he never implored any community to travel or cease from travelling whereever they wished. Your views are false, misleading and uninformed. Needless to say, you are a recipient of a 3rd class education. Had it not been for Gandhi, your father would have been fertilizing plants with the cowdung and your mom would have been chopping woods for the fireplace for your British masters. You would have most likely died from tuberculosis and small pox and you carcas would have been fed to the British rottweilers as supper.
@Comment with the name of “Saurav’s father”:
Sorry, but when you say Saurav got “3rd class education” and then you write a comment as dirty as this, you yourself qualify to be given this title.
Saurav didn’t wish that Gandhiji never got born, as you are making it out. He wished Gandhiji didn’t do like what he did; becoming almost like a saint in his later years and didn’t ruin the future of India just for the sake of an independence day ASAP.
Partition of India gave our nation a perennial disease, and creation of a separate nation for Muslims, while our own country would keep pampering Muslims as vote banks, is all that resulted from his imprudent decision to give away to the Jinnah’s demands.
While I respect Gandhiji as a great, perhaps greatest, human born in recent times, I don’t love whatever he did. He is also human and did many mistakes. And we are still paying the price.
