Similarly Wikipedia is presnting a false picture of 1962 Chinese invasion on India.
In 1960, China has expelled all Soviet Consulates and accused Khruschev in organizing a coup against Mao. The Communist party in India was then divided up into two factions as well. Most Communist leaders of Bengal, Ajoy Ghosh, Somnath Lahiri, Hiren Mukherjee, Indrajit Gupta, Bhupesh Gupta, have supported the Soviet Position and became anti-Chinese. They have organized demonstration against the Chinese invasion in 1962.
Pravda, the mouth piece of the Soviet Communist party in 1962 November severely criticized the Chinese and Khruschev has started sending MIG aircrafts, Antonov transport planes and other heavy military equipment to India.
Jyoti Basu, Nambudripad, Ranadivem Basabpuniya, Ram Murthy, Satya Murthy, were pro-Chinese and they were arrested at the time of the Chinese invasion. CPI(M) was formed as a separate party by them.
