Afzal Saved; Indians Shamed.
So this is the Moment of the truth! Afzals ‘date with death’ has been postponed and those who sacrificed their lives to save Honorable Members of Parliament (?) their surviving family members ‘returned’ their medals to the Government.
What I am expected to do? Feel proud and celebrate the “secularism”? OR shall hang my head in the shame?
What message is being conveyed to the brave soldiers? Is it that you will be sacrificed at the “altar” of secularism and the political expediency?
What is important INDIA or fist full of votes in UP elections?
How will the parents encourage their children to join the Armed forces? If this is how we treat the “memories” of those who laid their lives to protect “POLITICAL CLASS”, the question, which comes to any body’s mind, is
DID THEY – those who laid their own lives to save these MP’s – DO RIGHT THING?
How I wish that Mr. CLEAN and Dr.Good or the Balidaan Devi answered to the nation.
I refuse to believe that neither of them have any time to answer to such a “COMMUNALIST”, as you’re truly.
This nation is mine too and like any other Indian who takes pride in being INDIAN; I have the right to demand these answers.
OR is it I am asking right questions but from wrong people?
Very Hurt and Shameful,
PI.

Dear PI
With you on all the sentiments, but the macro problem is ‘ national Philosophy’ that is driven by a political party i.e. non violence.
Hence we can never be considered as an aggressor nation other wise why would we sign of shimla agreement and give away 2500 sq. kms to our neighbors. Ask an Israeli to just think about that…………….. hence the politicians should consider the armed services POV rather than vice versa which is the current situation
these are personal views
In a country where it takes decades for even normal cases to be settled, hanging of Afzal is a forlorn dream. Even national security and pride is of no value to our politicians and s-called seculars and liberals.
Some Indian Mujahideen /SIMI guys have been arrested. I don’t think that they’ll be punished adequately for their crimes either
