24X7 Lies

24X7 Lies

Needless to say that Indian Media especially the 24X7 TV News channels abandoned their primary duty of informing people and keeping a close eye on the Government and establishment- long ago. Long ago ‘Sec-Soc’ MSM realized that more than ‘ethics’ it is money which is more important. Money is made if you have power, power is derived from proximity to the ‘Powerful’ i.e. those who are in position to either reward/award or punish you.

Simply put, if you are close to the Govt. establishment, you are powerful. And power begets Money and more power. But to remain in the good books of powers to be, one need to compromise with ethics, and MSM has no qualms in doing that.

Just for your ‘enlightenment‘ I reproduce what Shri Shri Padam Shri Rajdeep Sardesai said. His own words, with my inputs.

Another reason for the problem is the changing self-image of the journalist, and his role in a democratic system. For a long time the journalist’s role was seen to be that of an independent observer of events. But observation alone can be rather tedious and not very financially productive either. So, over the years, the journalist has chosen to move from the margins of the fourth estate to being firmly on the centre stage, closer to the first estate (Read first family Soinia ‘Maino’ Gandhi’). Ideological corruption is as much a part in this process as anything else. A journalist can get close to a political party (Read Congress), business house (Read Reliance Mukesh Ambani Group) or an individual (Read Guru Amar Singh then in 2007, Sant Singh Chatwal Now) in a manner that compromises his (Read the journalists) independence. Having acquired that proximity (With Congress and the Maino family), the journalist can then use his clout on a larger scale, playing kingmaker in cementing political alliances (By not telecasting tapes of the STING his channel commissioned) at the centre or in providing the (Help winning the political and/ or pay masters) link between a minister in the Union cabinet (?) and a business house (We all know, who.) in need of a favor. (Padam Shri!)

Now we know MSM better! Don’t we?

But my this post is not about to tell you what games MSM play, you all know too well. This post is about a story which should have made the headlines and should have been debated threadbare, as the subsequent consequences are of national ramifications. MSM has been too busy in promoting ‘SRK’ and ‘His Name Is Khan’ that they have no time, energy or inclination to report anything else. This is their priority these days!

Thanks to some really Good, Alert and sincere bloggers, this issue has been brought to the notice of public.

To give you a quick review, One Mulla and his accomplice Guddu hack down 8 (all Hindus) poor farm laborers mercilessly in 1995 for failing to pay ransom of Rs. 10,000 each. Now as this is ‘rarest of rare’ cases logically these two (Mulla and Guddu) should have been awarded ‘capital punishment’ Na? Absolutely yes.

But Honorable Supreme Court overturned the death sentence citing the mitigating factor of poverty. This case is very important for the simple reason that it has the potential of influencing the criminal justice dispensation. But for Alert Bloggers Barabarindian and Reality Check India this news would have been buried in the pages of some news papers.

Read and ponder: Reality Check India’s Mulla Vs State of UP, Poverty, Death March, and Justice and Barabarindian’s Justice gets a Secular angle. Just read the ‘brutality’ of the crime. Both Reality Check and Barabarindians have enlightened take on the issue.

While MSM and their Padam Shris are more interested in making money and earning awards there are bloggers like Barabarindians, Reality Check and many more who are doing much better and selfless job in keeping the Nation informed. Kudos to them.

Instead of recognizing and appreciating the bloggers for their work MSM has nothing but contempt for us bloggers. Not long ago Padam Shri Barkhs Dutt Ji had made one hapless ‘Kunte’ not only withdraw a post (regarding MSM role during 26/11) but threatened him with law cases. Barkha Dutt Ko Gussa Kyon Aata Hai, we all know. Another day the Mighty Vir Sanghvi too had lamented against bloggers. These two are not alone but everybody in MSM has few pebbles to throw at the bloggers. So be it, damn we care.

But friends you now know who you can trust most: bloggers like Barabarindian, Reality Check or MSM?

My forewarning: Trust MSM @ your own Peril.

I am not sure what and how much Islam has contributed to the modern science, but sure I am that the religion of Piece (no spell mistake) has used science to perfect the art of killing Kafirs.

I do not blame Muslims as this is what has been mandated by their Allah and his ‘piece’ loving Messenger. Killing us all is their religious duty and  nothing stops them from discharging their religious duty.

We all have heard of Human Bombs but they just do not stop here they have invented or are working on to perfect the ‘art of killing infidels’ (Sic!) using every curve or crevice of human body- both male and female.

Not long ago we were introduced to Al Queda ‘Ass’assin brigade followed by ‘Penis Bomber’ now they are perfecting Bosom Bombers!!!!

Among all the above mentioned Great Islamic Bombers I am very concerned about ‘The Penis Bombers’! Why, you ask? Well what the fuck ‘Penis Bomber’ would do in Heaven -with all those 72 ‘eternal virgins’ and beautiful ‘kohl’ eyed hairless boys- with their ‘penises’ blown away!

Think Please. :)

Here is link to Kanchan Gupta’s post on the same subject, must read. Islam’s stockpile of human bombs.

Now I for one want to say only this…and the pic below say all.

Truth as it is.

Truth as it is.

Mumbai is on boil again, or so I am made to believe by the breathless dumb Nymphets and pea brained Morons on 24X7 ‘Sec-Soc’ screaming channels.

This time Shiv Sena ‘hooligans’ have given them enough long stick to beat with. As if the ‘Sec-Soc’ MSM was not already against the Hindus right through, SS provided them more reasons. Let us see the two issues involved.

1. SS and MNS’s diatribes against Non Marathi Manoos.

2. SRK and his Paki love.

I have already expressed my views on the point No.1: SS and MMS’s diatribes against Non Marathi Manoos. In this post I had condemned Raj unequivocally and in this post I had argued why only Raj can’t be accused alone. I ask readers to read these two posts and you might be surprised to see the other side of truth too.

Now point no. 2: SRK and his Paki love. Here it is interesting to note the indignation of Indian ‘Sec-Soc’ MSM. On this point I am totally in agreement with Shiv Sena or with anybody else who think that we can not engage Pakis in any which way unless they stop killing my fellow countrymen/women/children.

Why alone SRK? He might be promoting his film ‘His Name Is Khan’ for all we know. But any body else too whose heart bleeds more for Pakis should be ostracized socially.

I have always been cynical of this Indo-Pak bonhomie. This ‘Pappi-Jhappi’ walas are freeloaders who at the tax payer’s expense enjoy, Kababs, Mujara, exchange gifts, attend Paki Mushayaras and do Wah! Wah! Strangely no Indian artist ever gets an invite from Paki’s to perform in Land Of Pure Islam: Pakistan. Traffic is only one way. Huh!

But then this ‘Pappi-Jhappi’ gang is very resourceful one, time and again they find ways to keep their supply of Kababs and Mujaras on. This time they have floated this under the banner of ‘Aman Ki Asha’.

‘Aman Ki Asha’! Wow! Look at the name it self ‘Aman’ a Urdu Male Name. Aasha a Hindi Female name and it is ‘Aman Ki Aasha’. So friends Love Jehad is on right from the word go. Now look at these two media houses who are promoting it.  The Times Slimes of India (the one who can smell money any where and every where) and their Paki co-sponsorer ‘Jung’ Daily. JUNG! Urdu word means: war. Lo Kar Lo Baat!

This piece here in Pioneer has identified these usual suspects- ‘Pappi-Jhappi’ Gang. I quote from it with my own inputs.

There are three groups in India which are obsessed with friendship with Pakistan. The first group comprises elderly people born in that part before partition (Kuldeep Nayyar, Khushwant Singh Inder Kumar Gujaral just to name some yes, Manmohan Singh too) and who are nostalgic about Lahore havelis, halwa and mujra. The second group comprises Bollywood actors, directors and assorted outfits who look at Pakistan as a big market (Shahrukh Khan, Mahesh Bhatt, Javed, Shabana and their ilk). Dawood Ibrahim’s gang has financed many of these useful idiots. The third group comprises bleeding heart liberals who hold candle light vigils and who cannot imagine India doing well without its ‘younger brother’ taken care of (almost all Sec-Soc MSM and their telesecularists). All three have been proved wrong a hundred times but they unfortunately play an important role in moulding opinion.

Just how true. The author further says.

If we want the world to treat Pakistan for what it is, then we should start practicing it. We must always recognise it as the ‘Terrorist State of Pakistan’ and never have any illusion that it is going to be any different. We should completely and comprehensively cut off all relations with Pakistan — economic, cultural, sports and all other aspects. Dawood Ibrahim-funded Bollywood may weep. South Africa was shamed and shunned for its policy of apartheid, so should Pakistan for practicing terrorism as a state policy. Unless we start completely boycotting the ‘Terrorist State of Pakistan’ we cannot ask others to do it. If we completely boycott the Pakistanis for a few years we will see the results. Their roots are Indic and not in Saudi Arabia.

Hope ‘Sec-Soc’ MSM listens to this sane advice.

If corporate India — including electronic and print media — starts practicing it, then we can see results in a few years. One hopes that India’s elite is listening and will not get carried away by asha for the demons.

Thanks God, India has still many Prudent Indians left who talk sense and keep the National Interest above all. Other wise our Prime Minister Minion of Sonia ‘Maino’ Gandhi would have no qualms in short changing the National Interest for few more ‘secular votes’, just as he shamelessly surrendered to Pakis not so long ago.

PI.

Hi Friends, I have been absent from this blog for some time now, not because there was any dearth of topics but largely to catch up with some serious reading. I suppose my self imposed sabbatical need to end now, so I am back with and among you all.

IPL, Pakistan and wailing Indian Media.

Welcome Sri Lankan Team, Pakistani Style.

Welcome Sri Lankan Team, Pakistani Style.

It may be understandable for Pakistanis to cry themselves hoarse over non selection (or sale) of their cricketers in IPL auction, but more than Pakis it is Indian MSM’s cacophony which is absurd. I disagree with those bleeding heart secularists and ‘Sec-Soc’ MSM as they argue 1.) Pakistani players should not have been invited. 2.) Sport and politics should not be mixed.

Both arguments are erroneous and unsustainable. 1.) Had Pakistan been informed that they were not welcome; even then they would not have behaved any differently than now, and rather would that not have been more embarrassing for India and would not have invited criticism internationally? On the contrary they were invited and put on for sale but nobody bought them. Simple! It is that simple. IPL and their franchises are free to choose any one they like and they just exercised their choice –for whatever reason- so what is the big deal?

Second as for ‘Sport and politics should not be mixed’, it is stupid to even think so. Sport after all is an extension of war albeit with out blood shed. Sports have always been part of international politics and diplomacy. Boycott of South Africa due to apartheid policy of theirs or boycotts of Olympics at various times by various countries prove that. Sports – had always been and shall always be a useful extension of foreign policy, subtle but powerful in impact.

Frankly, I believe there is no point in engaging a country that has been not only at war with us but has sworn to bleed India by thousands cuts. No way can the hatred of Pakistan towards India be mellowed, least alone by playing cricket with them. Pakistan’s and Indian MSM’s wailing is idiotic if not funny.

It is a fact that Pakistan is current 20:20 champion so is the fact that they are the only team to have murdered (indeed!) or have BOB Woolmer (their couch) murdered during last world cup. I do not believe what ever the investigation said; here read why I call this murder. Here is one more example for Paki’s love for cricket. Must see this.

Finally! If that was a ’snub’ to them (Pakis), so be it. I congratulate IPL franchisees for showing courage and doing what our Lame Prime Minister Minion and his govt should have done much earlier, at least after 26/11.

I for one can not cheer up a Paki player as long as my fellow citizens are being blown to pieces every now and then by their (Pakis)  fellow countrymen.

PI.

PS: Here comes the Shahrukh as usual on the ‘Sec-Soc’ Undie TV and says, “he believes the Pakistani players should have been chosen…”. Pray for God (his case Allah) sake what stopped you?

Arun Jaitly is easily the most erudite speaker BJP has. Here is the speech he made at Rajya Sabha yesterday during a debate on the ‘Leaked’ first subsequently ‘reluctantly tabled’ in Parliament. Courtesy this site.

As for my response, shall blog soon after. Enjoy this speech mean while.

Shri Arun Jaitly On Liberhan Commission Report on Dec. 9/2009 in Rajya Sabha.

The Justice Liberhan Commission of Inquiry has now admittedly proved to be an exercise in futility. The title suit with regard to the disputed structure is pending before the Allahabad High Court. The criminal trials with regard to the purported incidents of 6th December, 1992 are pending before the Special Judge, Lucknow and Faizabad. The civil trial will decide the title issues and the criminal trial will address the culpability, if any. The Liberhan Commission was appointed by a Government in panic. This report, as is apparent from the Action Taken Report, is unimplementable. Several questions arise in the context of this report.

1) Why did it take 17 years for a Commission of Inquiry to formulate its recommendations and findings? Did the retired judge use the opportunity of heading this Commission to perpetuate his self-employment?
2) The manner and the leak of the report is as dubious as the report itself. The Home Minister says solemnly before the House that he or his Ministry did not leak the report. As the only other copies of the report are available either with the Judge or with de-facto drafts person of the report, the source of the leak has to be investigated.
3) Is the Report, as is apparent from the ATR, an unimplementable document? An analysis of the ATR reveals that except for lauding the political opinion expressed by the judge and agreeing with him, the other recommendations only relate to a proposal to legislate the Communal Violence (Prevention, Control and Rehabilitation of Victims) Bill, a subject over which the Central Government has no power to legislate or refer the matters to appropriate authorities like the UPSC, Election Commission and other statutory authorities.

Who has drafted the report ?

The report is hardly a document capable of being drafted by a retired High Court judge. The language is not judicial. The judge has unquestionably entered the political thicket. He has expressed an opinion on a variety of political subjects completely outside the Terms of Reference and outside the scope of a judicial training. The apprehension that the report is drafted by a person other than the judge himself is strengthened by the observation at page 999 where the judge thanks one Shri Harpreet Singh Giani and credits him in helping the judge in (a) analyzing the evidence (b) coming to conclusions (c) editing the report (d) adding and modifying the language (e) adding and modifying the ideas and (f) clearing the mess created by others.

Admittedly, it was Shri Giani who has analyzed the evidence, come to conclusions, edited the report, modified the language, added and modified the ideas. The judge seems only to have done the rest, if anything remained. The Liberhan – Giani report is the first Example of ‘Judgment Outsourcing’.

Does the report conclusively answer the key questions referred to the Commission ?

A Commission of Inquiry has to give a finding on basis of evidence. There has to be a link between the evidence produced and the conclusions reached. The learned judge admits in the report that there was no evidence of conspiracy or pre-planning lead by any party. (Refer page 15 para 7.4)

“No evidence was lead or information provided to the Commission with respect to the conspiracy or preplanning or the joint common enterprise, by any of these counsels”.

Page 775 para 130.5 –

“No documentary or direct evidence is possible in a conspiracy of this manner, nor unimpeachable and firm evidence of some action of planning of demolition available.”

Page 782 para 130.2

”Home Secretary, Godbole stated that there was no information of planning and as such it could not be inferred that there was a conspiracy of the Congress and BJP for demolition; this could not be accepted on the face of it particularly in the absence of any specific circumstances leading to such an inference.”

Page 992 para 178.34

“Neither the police nor the investigation team of the commission, despite the prolonged process, were able to identify any witness, nor produced any witness who could identify any of the demolishers, or lead any other evidence against suspects. Suspects were not even identified. Even after the unprecedented publicity throughout the long spell of inquiry nobody has come forward to advance the case or identify persons who physically carried out the demolition or the ones who plotted its demolition.”

Page 724 para 121.7

“In totality, it becomes obvious that some leaders were consciously kept out of the operational area or planning in order to protect them and preserve their secular credentials for later political use”.

After coming to this conclusion the judge fails to identify the leaders who were unaware of the design of the so-called planners. And still the judge goes on to blame the entire leadership of BJP and RSS for being aware and privy to the conspiracy.

At page 994 para 178.37 the Commission observes that “Important leaders of political parties, icons of movements, organizers of the movement continuously issued statements from time to time in relation to the conspiracy of demolition but no affidavit was filed before the Commission by them.”

In the White Paper published by the Govt. of India in 1993, which was placed before the Commission there was not even an averment of pre-planning or conspiracy involving senior leaders or organizations.

It is a settled law that the level of proof a Commission of Inquiry has to accept in fixing culpability has to be beyond reasonable doubt. In a case of no evidence, the Commission has come to the conclusion that the demolition was pre-planned and has named a large number of people, including those who were in no way connected with the incident of 6th December, 1992.

I am constrained to say that this Commission is a text book illustration of what a Commission should not be. A Junior judge of the Punjab & Haryana High Court is picked up to head the Commission. The only credentials of the judge at the time of his appointment was his proximity to the then Law Minister. It has frequently been said that there are two categories of judges – “those who know the law and those who know the Law Minister” This judge fell in the latter category. His knowledge of the Queen’s language was somewhat limited. He therefore needed the ghost writer to analyse the evidence, come to conclusions, modify the language and ideas. He used the 17 years tenure of the Commission to perpetuate an employment for himself. He probably wanted to use the conclusions and findings as an application for future employment. The report of the Commission would itself demonstrate that this truth investigator had turned into a political pundit.

Does this Report go beyond its terms and errs on basic facts?

The Liberhan Commission is a compilation of howlers and mistakes as is evident from the following :

1) Page 282 of the Report gives a compilation of 8 names of leaders of Ayodhya movement whom no role could be attributed to except participating in negotiations. The list includes two alleged supporters of the movement who are well known historians viz. Prof. R.S. Sharma and Prof. D. N. Jha. Both are Left leaning historians who presented the case of Babri Masjid Action Committee in the dialogue. The list of those who participated in the movement (P 270) includes Additional DGP Intelligence, Col. B.S. Zaidi (BMAC representative) Devraha Baba, Jagdambika Pal etc. Read the absurd list of Muslim Leaders on Page 279. This will only prove that the report suffers from factual hallucinations. The Commission also gets the date of Gandhiji’s assassination wrong (page 69). He even regards Veer Savarkar as the founder of the RSS and Dr. Hedgewar as his successor (page 562)

2) On page 566 the Commission in para 85.14 goes beyond the scope of inquiry and accuses – “Shri Din Dayal Upadhyay impliedly and by his conduct agreed with MA Jinnah’s theory that Hindus and Muslims were two separate nations”. He then quotes from Deen Dayal Upadhyay to the effect that “Muslims are not a minority community; they are a nation. They must have their independent land and their own State.” He therefore compares the BJP philosophy to that of Mr. Jinnah. This subject matter was privately obtained by the Commission. The fundamental mistake he made was that the entire paragraph was never said by Shri Deen Dayal Upadhyay. This is a quote from M.A. Jinnah which he puts in the mouth of Deen Dayal Upadhyay and then compares his philosophy with that of Jinnah. This is precisely what happens to a judge with no understanding of politics who tries to don the role of a political pundit.

3) The judge has a strong bias on certain issues. On page 556 he indicts political leadership for greed. “for their individual aggrandizement through repression, misguidance, acquiring power through mass means and improper reliance on philosophies such as Hindutva, Mandal, son of soil etc.”

4) The bias of the judge is further apparent in his recommendations where on page 970 para 173.8 and 173.9 he calls for a review of the recruitment procedure of the bureaucracy. He wants only excellence in certain areas to be a criteria for recruitment. He wants the postings to be done only on merit and not on casteist or regional basis. Who authorized this judge to carry on a tirade against social justice and Mandal Commission which has been unanimously accepted in this country? The Government has done a dis-service to this nation by mentioning in its ATR that the UPSC is examining changes in the recruitment process of officers and this recommendation was also communicated to the UPSC.

5) The Commission uses the report to indict the entire leadership of this country. –

Pg 540 paras 79.3, 79.4 and para 79.5

“The loss of political neutrality and the convenience with which justification can be found for every action has rendered all objectives of peaceful civilized society as enunciated by intellectuals, leaders, philosophers, thinkers since ancient times, obliterated…..

The law – common or constitutional, morals, ethics, epics and everything else is being examined in the scales of politically desirable results. It is immaterial whether those results are legitimate or healthy for democratic governance. Every one is out to become politician rather than a statesman.

The politician has become the epitome of the proverbial rags-to-riches story.

The common Indian has formed the firm belief already that the ills that face us can be traced to the political leadership and can be cured by a voluntary reform in the political parties and their leadership itself.”

On Gulzari Lal Nanda and Devraha Baba

The judge chooses to condemn whoever he desires to and that too without evidence. There is no mention of the former Prime Minister, Shri Gulzari Lal Nanda in evidence. Yet the judge choses to refer to him by saying –“Prof. Rajinder Singh, RSS leader, Dau Dayal Khanna, Gulzari Lal Nanda, the die-hard Hindus, in connivance with people with similar thoughts, started conceiving and exploiting the local dispute at a national level, may be for their selfish political needs or for achieving their old theory of Hindu Rashtra.” (Page 336) The Commission has no concern for truth. He is willing to go by giving irresponsible statements. On page 427 para 69.22 he says “open threats by exhorting the dacoits to take to arms for Ram temple were made by Ashok Singhal, Devrah Baba, Harish bhai etc.” The Judge fixes responsibility on Devrah baba for leading the country to communal discord on page 958and 959. This is notwithstanding the fact that Devrah Baba, a highly revered person had died in the year 1990, much prior to the alleged incident.

The report makes an interesting fairy tale. The Commission indicts the District Judge of Faizbad for directing the opening of the locks of the disputed site in 1986 (page 87). The Commission is convinced that the judge was inspired by a monkey to pass the judicial order since the monkey always accompanied Mr. Pandey, the District Judge of Faizabad.

The Evidence against Mr. L.K. Advani

The key question was that whether Mr. L.K. Advani and other senior BJP leaders made repeated requests to a small section of Kar Sewaks who had climbed up to the disputed structures, not to demolish it and come down. The Commission considers these appeals made by Shri L.K. Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Ashok Singhal, Vijay Raje Scindia HV Sheshadari etc. (page 255) as having been made either in earnest or for media’s benefit. The Commission contrives a curious logic that an appeal was made to the kar sewaks to come down from the domes but no appeal was made not to enter the Garb Grih. Therefore the hidden intention was to demolish the structure. The judge conveniently forgets the evidence given to the CBI in relation to the charge sheet by a lady IPS officer deputed as Mr. L.K. Advani’s PSO that he requested Uma Bharati to go to the structure to persuade the kar sewaks to come down. In fact Shri Advani insisted on going himself but could not go because the security officers including the PSO refused to take him there in order to avoid a possible conflict with the kar sewaks who had climbed on to the dome. Voluminous evidence of witnesses who have testified to the same effect of the appeals of senior leaders has been completely ignored by the Commission. While ignoring this evidence of the Lady Officer on page 507 with regard to another questions he says – “There is no reason to disbelieve her on these facts since as the security officer attached to LK Advani she had unrestricted access to all the happenings…..”

Did the Commission have a bias against the temple being built at the Ram Janamasthan ?

The Commission at page 23 of the report accepts Ayodhya as the birth place of the Hindu god Ram and therefore a holy city. He accepts at page 63 that – “yet namaz was not offered at the disputed structure since 1934”. He does not contest the finding of 1885 by a British judge FEA Chalmers in a civil appeal “It is most unfortunate that a masjid should have been built on a land sacredly held by hindus and as that occurred 356 years ago it is too late to remedy the grievance. (Page 97) “The judge accepts on page 561 that “the history books produced before Commission as well as the White Paper issued by the Govt.of India and BJP and also contentions by various counsels are unanimous that in 1528, the Emperor Babar ordered Mir Baqi, his Commander to erect a mosque at Ayodhya.” And yet his bias is apparent at page 547 where he says – “The demand for construction of the temple deprived the Hindu religion of its secular, multi-religious and multicultural credentials of the well reputed Hindu philosophy and the thoughts generally prevalent.” The judge ostensibly makes this entire narration of circumstances as leading up to 6th December, 1992. If admittedly Ayodhya is perceived to be the birth place of Lord Ram, if Mir Baqi converted the temple into a mosque, if for over 500 years a struggle for a temple was on, how could the demand for restoration of temple be anti- secular and the demand for maintaining forcible occupation of a mosque be secular. It is precisely this perversion in the concept of secularism that the Ayodhya movement was aimed at exposing. The truth investigator turned political pundit suffered from the same perversion.

Malafide error relating to Shri Atal Behari Vajpayee

The Commission was more loyal than the king. The Commission has committed a fundamental error in relation to its finding with regard to Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Little did the Commission realize that Shri Vajpayee is a tall national leader of proven credibility. The Commission of Inquiry Act in section 8B clearly mentions that if the Commission is of the opinion that the conduct of a person is required to be inquired into or that his reputation is likely to be affected, the Commission shall give to that person a reasonable opportunity of being heard.

The Commission on page 958 gives a list of persons including Shri Vajpayee and Shri Devrah Baba who are culpable for creating communal discord. There are at least 30 people out of 68 to whom admittedly no notice was given under section 8B. While the Commission on page 942 states that leaders like LK Advani, Shri A.B. Vajpayee and Shri Murli Manohar Joshi would have known the designs of the Sangh parivar, they are pseudo moderates. Obviously in trying to indict Mr. Vajpayee the Commission went for an overkill little realizing that Mr. Vajpayee had a high credibility. In that process the Commission shot itself in the foot and hurt its own credibility. Was it any part of the Commission’s job to find a political response to the BJP’s use of Phrase ‘pseudo Secular’? It is not only in Shri Vajpayee’s case, the commission has chosen to indict several leaders including many of the Muslim community without issuing a Section 8B notice to them. The report in so far as it hurts reputation of people without a Section 8B Notice is non-est.

On the Role of Central Govt.

The Commission was obviously kind to its appointing authority. The burden of its argument is that since the central government did not receive a report from the Governor whose judgement was badly flawed, the Central government was helpless in the matter of invoking Article 356. The Commission did not issue a notice to the Governor. It indicts the Governor but without a notice under section 8B. Shri PV Narasimha Rao authored a book titled ‘Ayodhya 6th December, 1992.’ The book has been published after his demise. At page 170 of the book, Shri Narasimha Rao reproduced the letter/report of the Governor wherein he categorically stated that ‘the possibility of demolition of the structure could not be ruled out.’ Obviously, the Commission wanted to be more charitable to his appointing authority, Shri Narasimha Rao. He even concealed the existence of a report. Even otherwise the argument of the Commission that the existence of a report was a condition precedent for invoking Article 356 by the Central Government is specious. The Commission completely ignored the words “or otherwise” in Article 356.

Strictures against Constitutional authorities

The Judge presiding over Commission is a bitter man. He was extremely keen to be elevated to the Supreme Court. Despite his keenness, members of the Supreme Court collegium did not consider it appropriate to recommend his name. This was his last opportunity to get back at the Supreme Court. He departs from the principle of inter institutional courtesy and indicts the Governor of UP, High Court of UP, an observer of Supreme Court and even the Supreme Court itself. At page 935 the Commission opines –

“For instance, the intransigent stance of the High Court of Uttar Pradesh, the obdurate attitude of the Governor, the inexplicable irresponsibility of the Supreme Court’s observer and the short-sightedness of the Supreme Court itself are fascinating and complex stories, the depths of which I must not plumb.”

The Commission is unaware of the basic courtesies and constitutional restraints imposed upon senior constitutional functionaries. The Commission ignores the requirement of section 8B and decides to indict superior constitutional authorities even without a notice.

Who were present on 6th December, 1992 ?

The Commission records the presence of every person in Ayodhya on 6.12.1992 (page 743). Prominent amongst those the Commission names who were admittedly not present. Balasaheb Thakre who was in Mumbai, Kalyan Singh, Chief Minister, UP who was in Lucnow, Rajinder Gupta, Uma Nath Singh,Lalji Tandon, Brahm Dutt Dwivedi ministers in UP Govt. who were in Lucknow, Kusha bhau Thakre, S.S. Bhandari, Sikander Bakht who were in Delhi and Shri Prabhat Kumar Chief Secretary UP who was in Lucknow. Where did the Commission get all this erroneous facts from. The Commission never bagged this factual narration and conclusions on any evidence but got it from some extraneous source.

How the Commission and the Government procured evidence ?

There is a Central government witness – a journalist named Raman Kirpal. He had purportedly deposed before the Commission and the Commission has relied on his affidavit and evidence. In 29 November, 2009 issue of the weekly magazine ‘OPEN’ Raman Kirpal has written an article titled “My Crippled Testimony”. Shri KIrpal’s article amongst others states “ The CBI officials gave me a date for deposition in New Delhi. I reached there right on time. They showed me an affidavit and asked me to sign……… During the cross examination I was asked to reply in “Yes’ or ‘no’. The format was so tight you could not explain anything. For instance, I was asked whether BJP ‘s LK Advani gave any speech at the dias asking the Kar Sewaks to demolish. I said ‘no’ but………. The lawyer interrogating me immediately shut me up… just reply in ‘yes’ or ‘no’ he said………… The tight format of the cross examination and my status as CGW 24 undermined several things which should have put the Central government of PV Narasimha Rao in a spot….. What surprises me that the Commission rescues the Central Government in its conclusions it says “The Central Government was crippled by the failure of intelligence agencies to provide an analysis of the situation. …..

This is my truth as a reporter. My affidavit as CGW 24 still stands but it is a crippled truth. There was much more that I could have wanted to say……..”. Did this Commission function as a Kangaroo court?

Recommendations of the Commission on subjects beyond its jurisdiction.

(a) The Commission has recommended (page 966) that “the next logical conclusion must therefore be that the government which is formed on the premise of religion or has religion on its agenda can be barred.” This is not constitutionally permissible. This is a new jurisprudence espoused by the Commission. How can a government be barred?

(b) The Commission has recommended that there must be a body constituted to look into the working of the Constitution. Perhaps the Commission was blissfully unaware of the fact that the Committee headed by Justice Venkatchaliah has already given a detailed report to the Government. The Commission at page 970 recommends a review of the Recruitment policy of the government into the civil service. He wants merit alone to be the criteria and not a caste or regional basis. Read in the context of the Commission’s earlier recommendation on Mandal Commission it is clear that the Commission suffers from caste bias. The Commission has recommended (page 971) that civil servants should be barred from holding office of profit after retirement. It is indeed a paradoxical recommendation from a judge who retired long ago and has enjoyed 48 extensions recommends no retired civil servant should be given any post retirement assignment. The Commission has gone into the question of Centre State relations (page 976) AND RECOMMENDED THAT NO State government can claim that it acts only for the persons or people within the boundary of the State and discriminate against others. While not disagreeing with the Commission on this, the question was not within the jurisdiction of the Commission. Was he dealing with Ayodhya incident or going into larger issue – the question of Centre State relation. Similarly the Commission recommends (page 976) party affiliations must come to an end the moment a legislator is elected. The Commission now wants the Tenth Schedule of the Constitution prohibiting defections to be repealed. Was this within the terms of reference of the Commission?

(c) The Commission obviously dislikes the media. (page 980 ). The Commission recommends that there must be a permanent authority to hear complaints against “mischievous journalists”. He wants a licensing regime back not in the industry but for joining the profession of journalism.

(d) The Commission at page 979 states as under:-

“It is therefore my recommendation that a statutory national commission be composed of acknowledged experts to delve into the questions of the provenance of historical monuments, artifacts etc. and their determination should be deemed to be definitive and final.”

The word provenance means — “the history of the ownership of the object specially when demanded or authenticated”. The Oxford dictionary of difficult words defines provenance as a place of origin or the earliest known history of something. Let this test recommended by Justice Liberhan be applied to the disputed structure at Ayodhya where already a report of the ASI exists indicating the existence of a temple before 1528. The Government in its ATR has rightly said in para 6.6 that a special Commission is not required for the said purpose as the ASI is already undertaking this mandate. The Allahabad High Court had asked the ASI to examine the site and the recovered stones from the erstwhile structure and submit to the High Court its expert opinion. The ASI in the year 2003 submitted its report to the Allahabad High Court where it concludes on basis of entire evidence. “Now viewing in totality and taking into account the archaeological evidence of a massive structure just below he disputed structure and evidence of continuity in structural phases from the tenth century onwards upto the construction of the disputed structure along with the yield of stone and decorated bricks as well as mutilated sculpture of divine couple and carved architectural members including foliage patterns, amalaka, kapotapali doorjamb with semi-circular pilaster, broken octagonal shaft of black schist pillar, lotus moif, circular shrine having pranala (waterchute) in the north fifty pillar bases in association of the huge structure, are indicative of remains which are distinctive features found associated with the temples of north India.”

This report was preceded by a Ground penetrating Radar Survey (GPRS) which also came to same conclusions.
Did a temple exist at the site prior to 1528 ?

The Commission has categorically given an opinion that Ayodhya is perceived as the birth place of Lord Rama and that Mir Baqi constructed a mosque at the disputed site in 1528. The crucial question is what is the historical character of the site in question. Admittedly, the site has great religious and cultural significance to our civilization and nation. Overwhelming evidence exists about the existence of a temple at the birth place of Lord Rama at Ayodhya. This evidence is in the form of archaeological evidence, GPRS evidence and accounts of various travelers who contemporaneously wrote their accounts.

………. The universally revered Sikh Guru, Guru Nanak Dev visited Ayodhya along with his associate ‘Mardana’. Contemporaneous Sikh literature finds a reference to the Guru’s communication to Mardana. Bhai Bala wali janam Sakhi also has a detailed reference to this visit. The visit took place between 1508 and 1510. The eighth successor of Guru Nanak Dev’s eldest son Lakhmi Chand Ji Baba Sukhi Ram Bedi in his works has referred to Guru Nanak Dev’s darshan of Ram Janamasthan.

The historical sketch of the Faizabad in Zila Faizabad refers to the existence of the Janamasthan at Ayodhya. It categorically records that at the janamasthan Emperor Babar built a mosque in 1528.

The Earlier Travels in India written by William Foster refers to Ayodhya where the ruins of Ram Chander acknowledged as an Indian God were found.

The Gazetteer of Awadh refers to the Janamasthan as the place where Ram Chander was born.

The Geography of Hindustan written by Father Jose Tieffn-Thacer Is still available in French. A copy of it was obtained from France and got translated into English under directions of the Court. The said travel refers to Ayodhya where a temple had been constructed on elevated bank of the river. It then refers to a debate as to whether it was demolished and converted into a mosque by Aurangzeb and then corrected to say that others believed that it was actually constructed by Babar.

There have been several struggles in the past 500 years for the restoration of the Janamasthan. The existence of a mosque built after desecration of the temple has never been accepted by the Hindus. The past 500 years have witnessed repeated struggles for rights of the Hindus at the Janamasthan.

In the later part of the 19th century the Nihangs had occupied the structure for a reasonable long period on the premise that Guru Nanak Dev had performed his worship at the site. In 1934 the Hindus were fined by the British Government for some damage caused to the structure during an agitation. There are judicial orders dating back to 1885 in relation to the legal and judicial dispute.

The principal question is – What was the original character of this structure? Unquestionably, the original character was a temple. It was no ordinary temple. It was a temple built at the place believed to be the Janamasthan of Lord Ram. No religious denomination can ever accept a conquest of such a sacred place. The historical, archaeological and GPRS evidence is entirely against the historical vandalism of 1528. The next 500 years have seen agitation for recapturing and litigation over the issue. Since 1934 no namaz has been performed and puja goes on regularly.

The ability of Indian society at dispute settlement is at stake. The judicial institutions have been unable to decide the issue for decades. The ideal dispute resolution is through negotiations.

A fair secular society requires equality of all. A secular order is not irreligious. It is not anti-religion. It is respect for all religions. Protection of legitimate rights of the minorities is unquestionably a test of a secular society. At the same time the majority cannot live for centuries with a feeling of reverse discrimination. The history of the past 500 years has shown that the majority has been denied its right to build a historical temple at its most revered place. The Home Minister has framed the wrong question that it is a choice between inclusiveness and divisiveness. Does your inclusiveness exclude the religious aspiration of the majority for the sake of vote bank politics. We reject your ‘Vote bank inclusiveness’ as we reject the LIberhan report. We stand for “Justice for all, with neither discrimination nor reverse discrimination”.

Mumbai Vigil: Is Lighting Candles alone we wish away terrorism?

Mumbai Vigil: By Lighting Candles alone we want to wish away terrorism?

Kind Attention:

Extremely Respected Ma Balidaan Moorti Reverend Sonia ‘Maino’ Ji Gandhi.

Preamble: This is an earnest appeal to bring Back Shiv Raj ‘Zombie’ Patil as first anniversary of 26/11 approaches. I submit my case for ‘Zombie’s’ Political Rehabilitation, please consider.

As the first anniversary of Mumbai Mayhem is approaching, so has the Padamshris of MSM packed their bags and have camped in Mumbai. This Padamshri ‘tweeted’ “off to mumbai with half- a voice, for we the people! hoping to see some of you at the show, and others later on twitter. have a great day.”

Well who could have any objection (except Raj) for anyone to go anywhere in India, leave alone Indians any Rana, Hadlee, Bhatt can go anywhere; do whatever… for, we are ‘Socialist, Secular, Liberal, Progressive Society’ constantly under watch by our ever so efficient 24X7 ‘Sec-Soc’ MSM. So if our Padamshris and not yet decorated Media Gurus go and camp at Ground Zero, no one should have any grudge – especially I do not have any.

For I understand first anniversary of 26/11 Mumbai Mayhem is ‘VERY BIG MEDIA EVENT’ and like any other Professional Company MSM too has the right to milk the EVENT to it’s fullest.

However, I can foretell what we are going to serve with…

One Padamshri will hold ‘her’ Darbaar at Gate way of India with same set of people (who we saw last time lighting candles) appearing, saying same things they said last time.

Same Home Minister (Patil who was sacked then’ is back now) will mumble same inanities he mumbled last time.

Same lesson how the ‘Resilience’ of Mumbai is legendry and blah blah…

Same channels, same stories, same gory music in background, same footage of same events along with the same commentary of same anchors. Phew!!!!!!!!!

Same crocodile tears, same sermons about communal harmony, same theories about foreign hands – Now this is especially important for them to emphasize as a Son of a Motor Mouth Secularist too figures in investigation making it imperative for MSM to delink him of any wrong doing, if only to salvage the ‘secularists’ bruised ‘exaggerated ego’ in public eyes.

Equally sure  same time I am that the famous whipping boy of MSM, Narrender Bhai Modi would find more than ample scorn thrown at him for “Gujarat Holocaust”, HOLOUCAST!!!! Right Mr. PM? As we are to believe that terrorism of secular variety started from then on!

Some New Ideas for the First Anniversary of Mumbai Mayhem are however being implemented too.

Saw AB Jr. exhorting people to call each other for one hour (8.36 Pm to 9.36 Pm on 26/11/2009) that day as he ensures us that revenue earned will be given to victims. BUT then this IDEA is of a famous cellular company and they might be right (Sic!) in exploring public sentiments- if not to earn profit, for some publicity at least. These days- in any way- MSM ad slots are high and this stunt is far cheaper.

(One thing, lest I forgot, did you notice that how much RS. Are added to your phone bill when you send an SMS to News Channels? I DID AND THAT IS BIG FAT RS. FIVE. Got It? Where the normal SMS charge is 1.50 Rs. Alone! So who is making a kill?  Wonder why every TV Anchor asks you to SMS them Y/N for each stupid question? Scandalous! Need to be investigated.)

Now my point is: nothing has changed since then and nothing will ever. So why punish ‘Zombie’ Patil alone?

Last time faithful MSM had spread the public anger against the inefficient Congress Govt both at State and Center over the entire Political Class thus diluting the anger against Congress Govts. And that was a very cleaver and smart move by MSM- led by PadamShris (whom you (Sonia) blessed) from front. Move paid and MSM’s Favorite party is back in power again- so nothing has changed. Not even the public.

Now even if for a change we will see Same State Home Minister (who was sacked for his failure by your good self) paying tributes to those brave hearts!  Then what has the poor ‘Zombie’ Patil done? Therefore my humble submission is to Please bring back Shiv Raj ‘Zombie’ Patil – if not as Union Minister of Home then as Governor of Maharashtra at least.

As this is a farce alone, so why not complete it by including Shiv ‘Zombie’ Patil?

Why should only poor ‘Zombie Patil’  be deprived of the ‘Gala Media Event’? Is it fair?

Hail Democracy! Hail MSM! Hail One Billion Indians!

As for this ‘audacious’ PI. I…

Will not light candles.

Will not watch Media circus

Will not read paper’s detailed accounts.

In short I will not be part of this ‘farce’. PERIOD

I simply pay my tributes to those who fell in the line of duty and have become mere statistics. AND for those too who will soon fell and become statistics since nothing has changed nor it seems; will ever.

PI.

PS: Excuse me for my cynicism, but it is how it is.

Tweety BatMan

Tweety BatMan

Finally, I decided to download TweetDeck after almost 8 months of opening this tweet account. I was hesitant because I felt 140 words might not be sufficient to express one’s opinion. Well I was wrong.

For two three days I observed people (especially my fellow bloggers friends) and was amazed how this medium has brought the community more closer than ever. Tweets reach to large nos of people is amazing, so is the speed with which you communicate.  Sharing links, picking up clues, in real time could not have been better. Some of Tweets were complete post in itself ‘Micro Blogging’? Well Yes Indeed. I too did tweet  :)   and enjoyed and believe me contrary to my apprehensions (what ever I had ) the response has not only been encouraging but simply great.

Thanks to you all.

Now if this ‘Tweeting’ becomes another cause of Barkha Dutt Didi’s concern -considering she has already and always been furious with bloggers – now this Tweet too? So be it. I must admit that the most of tweets I happened to read reflected some ‘undisputed and uncontested’ love for Barkha Didi and Rajdeep Bahiya such as these ‘PadamShris’ really deserve.  :)

Wonder some tweeter too might attract Barkha Dutt Didi’s special attention as the ‘Hapless’ Kunte invited – I most certainly do not want to be The One.

Anyway I do not see what the purpose of writing this post is!  :)

Well simply this: I am Tweeting and I am Here and most Importantly, I am enjoying it.

C u soon …. Happy Tweeting.

PI.

PS: BTW was Tweet available last year Nov 2008, Mumbai attack time? Will Some one please enlightens me.

'Naveen Cow and Calf' i.e Congress

'Naveen Cow and Calf' i.e Congress

Foreword: ‘Cow and Calf’ had been Congress party’s symbol before the open Palm symbol. This blog thinks that more than ever it in the current situation that the above pic – as new symbol -  is truly and most accurately representative of Congress. Last time it was Indira and Sanjay, now it is Balidaan Moorti Ma and Crowned Prince.   :)

Lok Sabha polls 2009, Then three important states Maharashtra, Haryana and Arunachal Pradesh delivers verdict in favor of  the Holy Cow and Calf led family firm called ‘Congress’. Kudos!

Now I am not going to dissect the election results for two reasons. One: it is for the political parties especially the opposition to ponder TWO: elections are over and it is the moment of truth and truth is: opposition failed miserably.

Well, in a democratic setup –how so ever flawed it may be- ‘Statistics’ matters and ‘statistics’ are clearly in favor of ‘Cow and Calf’. Period.

No arguments, no discussions, no debates, no grudges. ‘Calf and Cow’ are here and they are here to stay it is the ultimate truth.  It is the emergence of ‘Naveen Cow and Calf’ Congress party.  Bear it or F*** off.

“Naveen” in Hindi means ‘New’ so I call it ‘Naveen’ Congress. :)

BTW, this Naveen too has been pretty lucky for the ‘Cow and Calf’  ever since he was appointed CEC despite strong protest by almost entire opposition parties … Am I suggesting some thing? Uummmmmmhhhh…what you think?

If at all we had any hope of seeing any alternative formation challenging the ‘Cow and Calf’ led ‘Syndicate’ (including Media, NGOs, CBI, and Intellectual Masturbate-rs  of several hues) in the form of BJP! Then we were grossly wrong.

BJP these days has only one opposition to fight against and that is: BJP alone; no body else. They are busy among themselves and if – and BIG ‘IF’- at all they sort their issues they might think of some real issues concerning people too, yes they might, just. So far with leader like Party President Rajnath at the helm of affairs- it seems impossible.

May be it is time for like minded bloggers to revise their support for BJP and find a political party which endorses the ‘Right and Righteous Path of Governance’ and challenge the ‘syndicate’ of ‘Cow and Calf’ admirers. Till then, we (vigilant bloggers though the Media Queen Ms. Barkha Dutt Hates us so much) should take command in our own hands and keep a strict vigil on the ‘syndicate’ and keep exposing them for what they are: pack of  mere time servers, sycophants,  swindlers, looters.

NOW, more than the victory of ‘Cow and Calf’ – which is only ‘Statistical win’- it is the sorry state of BJP in particular and any ‘ideological opposition’ in general which the real cause of worry is.

Ominous signs for what future we, as a Nation are heading for!

The President: Normally some one who inspires.

But we are not living in normal times Sigh! Here is ‘You’re President’.

Prime Minister: Most important man in whose hand is the destiny of Nation in normal times got to have a standing of his/her own and will/command/mandate and character to lead the Nation through.

But all the above is for ‘Normal’ times yeah! We have ‘Dr. Economist Mr. Clean’ Prime Minister Minion! All other qualities or qualifications apart he is PM for only because he is the least threatening to the Holy ‘Cow and her Calf’.

Council of Ministers: Collective responsibility and collective wisdom was what the constitution framers had in mind for ‘Normal’ system of Governance.

Above is expected, but for ‘Normal’ time, which sure we are not living in. “Collective Loot”, “Individual Sycophancy to ‘Holy Cow and Calf’” and “Self Promotion” is the buzz now.

Effective and strong “Opposition” to keep a check on the Ruling party and its policies is as important as Governance in any democracy, but then that too is for ‘Normal’ times. Isn’t it?

But then, on this front too all we see is: petty local ‘regional chieftains’ whose vision does not go beyond their nose and whose only purpose is to demand their share of loot. Only two ‘Ideological’ formations like BJP and Communists who ‘claim’ to have an ‘alternate’ system of governance are in disarray and there are no visible signs of their timely and effective recovery, they might go further down the pit they find selves in. Certainly not these are ‘normal’ times!

Unless we now choose to redefine: what ‘normal times’ are.

In a vibrant and health democracy MEDIA is expected to be a watch dog, again only in ‘Normal times’ it is expected that MSM uncovers truth, dig out scams, educate people and bring issues to fore. Normal times Huh!

With MSM now part of ‘Conspiracy’ and fully in service of ‘Holy Cow and Calf’ only because – according to ‘Media Sultan Rajdeep’ Journalist Mange More – they have to keep running their ‘Shops’ euphemistically called “Media Houses”, they are now days indistinguishable from the charlatans of ‘Cow and Calf’ brigade.

Judiciary is the last refuge of a ‘wronged’ person to solicit justice. Normally and rightly it is expected from the courts to deliver justice- on time and in full. But in, ‘Normal Times’, You See!

Now I am not commenting on respected Judiciary any which way. I am ‘mortally’ scared of Judiciary which at times has shown to be ever on very short fuse- but a CertainVerbal Terrorist’ does get away with lambasting the SC after NBA verdict. I am too humble a Blogger to invite Judiciary’s “attention” any which way. But then CJI’s reluctance here did not inspire confidence in many at least, isn’t it?

Now let us see where ‘We the People’ of “Sovereign, Socialist, Secular, Democratic Republic of India” – a thousands of years old Civilization with ONE BILLION people – stand. Normally it is our collective duty to elect true representative of ours and held him/her accountable and change when he/she does not perform. Normal Expectation of Course!

But then, voting day is a day to relax with kids and friends. If voting day extends your weekend then WOW! Decide which country side or near by vacation spot family choose to go to, then take out your car and drive off. If at all you choose to go to vote: then consider who is from your cast, or choose because he/she sent you cheap liquor ‘quarter’, or did he deliver 500/= Rs. Note on time, or choose because of any other sundry consideration BUT CERTAINLY NOT for his/her commitment towards people, certainly not for his/her achievements, certainly not for his/her programmes, certainly not for what his/her vision is.

Do we still have a right to crib? Do we still have any reason to complain?

Certainly Not. We deserve the Government we elect.

High time Voting is made Constitutionally Compulsory Duty of Every Citizen.

Now for sure I am convinced that we are living in Ram Rajyaa.

How, you ask? Well let me explain: with all the above what you have read i.e.: No body is doing the job he/she supposed to do, yet we are, do you not wonder we still are One Nation and alive!!!!

Every thing is Ram Bhrose. Only God knows how a Billion strong Nation still exists, otherwise successive governments (Mostly ‘Cow and Calf’ syndicate for the longest period ever since Independence) left no stone unturned to wipe it off from the Globe – at least as one strong coherent political Nation.

God Bless My Country. God Bless Bharat! Amen!

PI

PS: BTW, this blog has crossed 100,000 hits thanks to you all readers/friends. Though, this blog has achieved, a very small milestone,  yet time for me to celebrate. Cheers! :)

Thanks to you all once more.

Modi wins over MSM.

BJP under Narrender Modi in Gujarat has wrested five seats from the ‘Secular Congress’ in bye-poll held on Sept, 10th 2009. In Gujarat, the BJP wrested Jasdan, Chotila, Dehgam, Danta and Sami-Hariz from Congress while it lost Kodinar to the Congress which managed to retain Dhoraji alone.

BJP also has won one each in Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

These results are significant for two reasons at least…

  1. The media’s immoderate reportage, off-late, of whatever good or bad was happening inside the BJP, had reached to the nauseating crescendo. Media had almost written off BJP and anybody who is any damn body in MSM, had penned down the ‘obituary’ of the party.
  2. The ‘Secular Congress’ and its ‘dirty tricks department’ choreographed a ‘magisterial report and ‘henchmen’ in Media lapped it up and splashed it all over on the eve of Bye-Election. Only to ensure Modi’s defeat by consolditing the ‘secular vote bank’ behind the Congress – as always. Only for their (MSM) pursuit of winning/securing favors from the ‘reigning queen’ of 10 Janpath.

But then, people of Gujarat and MP and Uttrakhand are wiser than these ‘media henchmen’ of Sonia ‘Maino’ Gandhi. People have voted and pronounced their verdict. Possibly, the chosen mandarin this time could not manage the BYE-Elections as truthfully’ as he did during elections for Lok Sabha 2009.

As results were declared this afternoon (Sept, 14th, 2009) I am hardly surprised to see a complete mum on 24X7 Channels as if the ‘Cat has got their tongues’! Imagine: just incase the results were reversed in favor of Sonia ‘Mata’s Secular Congress!

Lucky for them (MSM), Sachin and Dhoni have – by scoring a century and half century respectively- given them (MSM) a face saver and an excuse to hide their shamed face.

24X7 ‘maudlin reporters’ are ‘NOW’ busy discussing ODI being played at Sri Lanka.

BTW, it would be really interesting to see what the Padamshri Barkha Didi, Padamshri Rajdeep Bhaiya and other ‘Padam’ awardees in MSM (including print media man too) answer and mollify Madame Sonia for their (MSM) collective failure in ‘maligning Modi Campaign’ on eve of By-Election this time, and as a policy 24 hours  365 days of year.

Padam Awarded Editors/Managing Editors/Editors in Chief etc and those ‘aspiring’ ones too have a lesson to learn from this: perfidy of yours was too well known to voting ‘prudent voters’ and they are the ones who matter.

Period.

As for you Padam Bhushans/Shris of MSM, here one of you ‘Padamshri’ Shri Shri Rajdeep had said I quote him with my comments in ‘saffron’ (communal color?).

So be it.

Padamshri Rajdeep Sardesai on June 26th, 2001 in a seminar.

Another reason for the problem is the changing self-image of the journalist, and his role in a democratic system. For a long time the journalist’s role was seen to be that of an independent observer of eventsBut observation alone can be rather tedious and not very financially productive either. So, over the years, the journalist has chosen to move from the margins of the fourth estate to being firmly on the centre stage, closer to the first estate (read first family Sonia ‘Maino’ Gandhi’). Ideological corruption is as much a part in this process as anything else. A journalist can get close to a political party (read Congress), business house (read Reliance Anil Ambani Group (update: then in 2001 now it is Mukesh as Madame wishes) or an individual (read Guru Amar Singh (update: he too is discarded after this)) in a manner that compromises his (read the journalists) independence (simply put: paid and paid for the job to do for ‘Madame’). Having acquired that proximity (with Congress and the Maino family)the journalist can then use his clout on a larger scale, playing kingmaker (as he DID) in cementing political alliances (By STILL not telecasting tapes) at the centre or in providing the (Help winning the political and/ or pay masters) link between a minister in the Union cabinet (?) and a business house (we all know, who.) in need of a favor. (Yes, do tell us please, is to serve the greatest cause of saving Hindustan from Communal forces?!)

Sonia ‘Maino’ Gandhi ‘owned’ congress is just a political ‘front’ for forces unseen, it is ‘perfidious MSM’ who have been playing games (for lucre and fame or may be what else sinister agenda they have and is not disclosed as yet) but ‘detrimental’ to Hindus and Bharat. Modi has given them a befitting reply and I pray: ‘let the Modi tribe grow’.

Modi’s win is a tight slap on not Congress’s face alone; but on ‘perfidious media’ and 24X7 sec-soc channels too, sorry we can not distinguish between you two. :)

24×7 and Padamshris, will you please, ‘Shut Up’ Now?

PI.

Sec Soc MSM's Crow Mentality.

Sec Soc MSM's Crow Mentality.

Political observers have observed a ‘definite secular pattern’ whenever elections are due in Gujarat and/or in any state/states where the Balidaan Moorti’s Secular party has high stakes.

Broadly the pattern is: As soon as the Election dates are announced the hunt to find an/any Issue which is emotionally sensitive to the Biggest ‘Secular Vote’ bank of the party begins. As if on a clue; some inquiry commission/committee, Human Terrorists Rights Flag bearers, some 100% SECULAR NGOS run by Padamshri (!) come out with a ‘damning Modi’ report in Media and then the entire ‘Sec-Soc MSM’ take command in their ‘Professional Hands’already ‘suitably greased’ with Padamshris, Bhushans, free plots, privileges etc.  – and they take care that the issue is discussed/debated on each and every program 24X7 till the voting date at least, from there on it is the able hands of ‘Election Commission’ under Shri Naveen Chawala to take care.

As I am punching keys, North Gujarat and Saurashtra region of Gujarat are casting votes to fill up 7 vacancies in a by-election for state assembly. Maharashtra; a politically significant state for NCP and Sonia Congress, Harayana and Arunachal Pradesh shall go to polls on Oct 13th- almost a month from now.

Just couple of days before Gujarat goes to by-election, One Additional metropolitan magistrate comes out with an ‘inquiry report’ and ‘dutifully submits’ that to the Media and ‘sec-soc’ MSM not only laps it up; but splash that all over!!!!!

SECULARISM AT FULL SWING on poll eve!

Now what the report is about: Ishrat Jahan and her four male accomplices shot dead by Gujarat police as they (police) had reliable, actionable and confirmed information provided by the Centre (Manmohan Government).

Three days ahead of by-poll in Gujarat SP Tamang  [Additional] Metropolitan Magistrate  come to the conclusion that the police faked the ‘encounter’ with four ‘terrorists’, among them a young college student, Ishrat Jahan, to secure promotion and appreciation.

Not only ‘conclusion’ which this AMM reached at, amazing is the speed at which he reached at! IN 25 DAYS FLAT! A Gujarat Govt source has told me in confidence that the report submitted is ‘hand written’.

Amazing! Isn’t it that [Additional] Metropolitan Magistrate SP Tamang was in some tearing hurry!

Interestingly AMM SP Tamang thought it fit to release this report via Media on the eve of by poll!.

Who did SP Tamang [Additional] Metropolitan Magistrate submit report to?

Mukul Sinha: Defense lawyer got it before even Gujarat High Court did.

What did Mukul Sinha the ‘defense lawyer’ does?

He calls selected ‘Sec-Soc’ MSM and releases the report.

What Does the ‘Sec-Soc’ MSM does?

The Hindustan Congress Times splashes it, Barkha Didi’s 24X7 Channel shows 24X7 prominently so did Rajdeep Bhaiya  too jump in – lest Barkha Didi run away with ‘Better awards’ than him. Other channels too followed ‘cacophony’ and lo and behold: Modi is damned for killing an innocent ‘Collage girl’ as patriotic as you and me! And this line is toed by other sundry but equally secular Media pundits…and all this happens just three days before Gujarat goes to By Polls!

This whole thing (submission and reportage of the ‘fake encounter’ report’) is acquiescently ‘choreographed’ by ‘Secular Brigade’ just ahead of Voting.

In SP Tamang [Additional] Metropolitan Magistrate’s own words,

that the police faked the ‘encounter’ with four ‘terrorists’, among them a young college student, Ishrat Jahan, to secure promotion and appreciation. The incident occurred on June 15, 2004, in the outskirts of Ahmedabad…

Point taken Sir.

Does the Tamang’s ‘lightening speed’ findings, submission of ‘handwritten’ report to Sec-Soc MSM just two days ahead of polling qualify to be ‘accused and imputed- as he does to the policemen’ - to the same motive… i.e  ‘ (to) secure promotion and appreciation’ from powers ruling India from 10 Janpath

After all ‘Modi Bashing’ is an industry and many ‘secularists’ have benefited from it by making millions and by securing Padamshris/Bhushans for selves. Teesta, Barkha, Rajdeep, Shekhar Gupta, Vinod Dua etc etc are some names which come to mind instantly. So does Retd.Justice UC Baneerjee or Justice (Retd) JS Anand and top of all Justice (Retd) Rajeender Sachhar.

In short and in Rajdeep Bhayia’s own words, ‘Secular’

  “Hamam Mein Sab Nange Hain”

Sadly though, neither this is first time; nor will be the last, when ‘serving’ or retd members of Judiciary too have ‘acquiesced’.

As if Secular Polity and Secular Media were not enough! Secular Judiciary too joins the circus.

Ideally the Election Commission should have taken a suo-moto notice against this blatant violation of ‘code of conduct’ and held report and it’s reportage on hold. But then, it is under Shri Naveen Chawala of ‘emergency vintage’; so we all know what to expect. Don’t We?

Maharani Gaytri Devi the ‘Most beautiful Woman’ once described as ”a dream in sari and jewels” left for heavenly abode on 29th. Leaving behind some many memories.

Gaytri Ji was not only the ’epitome’ of beauty but also a daring personality. Thrice a MP she dared Jawahar Lal too in Lok Sabha.

As a true lover and appreciator of beauty in what ever form and of kind; I lament the loss.

But then, all good things come to an end.

@ 90 she was still young to warm any ones heart.

Goodbye ‘Queen of Beauty’. For sure, Gods too would be pleased to see her back; for full 90 years Gods too would have missed the ‘enchanting beauty’ she is.

May her soul rest in peace, Amen!

National Interst? What? Sonia's Interest is what matters: MMS

The credentials of Shri G Parthasarthi are beyond reproach, especially in matters related to ‘foreign affairs’ he is an authority. G Parthasarthi is apolitical, unbiased and most importantly does not carry any ideological baggage and neither does he have an axe to grind unlike the Sec-Soc media and ‘Sonia stooges’ in MSM. I always look up to Shri Parthasarthi for a clear perspective on matters related to ‘foreign policy’, especially when it is related with Pakistan.

The abject surrender by the MMS and his team of worthies at Sharm – el- Sheikh is what Parthasarthi calls as ‘Sharm -less-  Surrender’ and this sums it all up and very aptly. No need to say anything more here, I leave that to the ‘foreign affairs experts’ to enlighten us.

Since after this ‘Shame Less Surrender’ MMS is back and has been facing flak – rightly so- from all quarters. There is an outrage and people are angry about the sell out and that ‘too’ to Pakistan. The new entrant to the Sonia family owned ‘secular party’, MOS foreign affairs Shashi Tharoor dismisses it as just…

“It’s all very well for the people to say that somehow India’s interest was compromised by a few words on a piece of paper that is not a legal document,” said Tharoor.

As if this was not enough…

“It (the joint statement) is a diplomatic paper that is released to the press different from legal papers,” he maintains.

Tell me again that this man ran for UNO Secretary General’s post!

Coming back to the ‘Shame Less Surrender’ to Pakistan and the subsequent reaction in India, I wonder what all this annoyance is about! Is it the first time that the prime minister (and all Congress men/women) has sold out India’s advantage to Pakistan in hope of consolidating and harvesting ‘secular votes’ during elections!

Foreign policy for any country is a serious issue and is taken with utmost sincerity. Only the ‘National Interest’ of their country is supreme most and all the countries in the world including Pakistan recognizes it, but Alas! We Indians are an exception. We are the ONLY country in the World (and mind you BILLION + STRONG) who prides in self for capitulating and shortchanging our ‘strategic, military and even diplomatic’ advantages over Pakistan for petty gains. And ‘petty gains’ for whom? For ‘we the people of India’? NAY- but for the petty gains of one Family and for their stooges alone.

This is not an accusation hurled at Sonia or at her Prime Minion in anger or in a fit of rage. No. PM after PM from the Congress stable has blundered with such sickening frequency. The Congress has perfected and copyrighted it in the hope of garnering ‘secular votes’. Congress’s unstated policy /belief is that Pakistan must be placated anyhow if Congress is to appear secular in the eyes of the Indian Muslims. This is an affront to Indian Muslims too, if only they (Muslims) understand it. My charge is that the Congress has failed India time and again and at the cost of India’s National Interest.

This is just to refresh your memory of certain misdeeds committed (at our and our beloved nation’s expense) by the Prime Ministers from the ‘secular party’.

Starting from beginning (the root cause of all problems) Pandit J L Nehru (Chachaji) could just not suppress his urge and compromised on the Indian claim to Kashmir. He went on radio to announce and then on to UNO, despite the sane advice of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel against doing so. But then Chacha Ji had the propensity of using, in my dear friend Sandeep’s words,

“How a man whom a lot of liberals consider the “architect of modern India” allowed the wrong part of his anatomy to interfere in strategic decision-making.”

Do Read and weep.

Chachaji did not stop here only, he went on and ‘traded off’ India’s historic and cultural influence over Tibet with the then Chinese PM for some hollow promise and see how China swallowed Tibet! Chachaji had big illusions of being a ‘World Leader’ so some shortchange of ‘National Interest’ in pursuance of that goal was ok with him.

Now I hold Shri Lal Bahadur Shastriji in high esteem, but even he too lost the strategic and military advantage over Pakistan in Tashkent, a deal brokered by the communist USSR. This was followed by the death of Shastri Ji @ Tashkent under not so clear circumstances.

Indira Gandhi – way back in 1971, whom Atal Ji then hailed as ‘Durga’ – is remembered and known ‘more’ for splitting Pakistan into two. As a matter of record Sam Manek Shaw drafted that victory and capturing 90,000 Pakistani soldiers alive was his ‘achievement’ and that too was squandered away by Indira ‘Durga’ Gandhi after the ‘infamous’ walk on Mall Road of Simla with wily Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.

What did India gain except some hollow promises from Bhutto in exchange of these POWs (Prisioners of War)?

Not for nothing my Grandfather who served Indian Army then in these two wars, derided  Congress Netas as ‘Gandhi Topis’  for squandering the military gains (at the cost of Soldiers lives)  across the negotiating table to Pakistan for known only to them ‘gains’.

Prince is no different either.

What explains then the release of 90,000 (NINTY THOUSAND PAKISTANI SOLDIERS AS POW) could they not have been used as a bargaining tool to settle all and any disputes with Pakistan for once and all and ON OUR OWN CONDITIONS? What then made Indira to let go free these 90,000 Pakistani soldiers? And now their ‘progeny’ make such a hue and cry of releasing four Pakistanis in exchange of 200 lives brushing aside the exchange of FIVE terrorists for Saeed’s daughter Rubihya!!!!

But No, both father (Chachaji) and daughter did nothing in the larger interest of Nation but for their petty gains. Both were seriously myopic and self centered .As for poor Shastri Ji, he died in mysterious circumstances and I have nothing against him.

Had things stopped here would have still been of some commiseration. But no, we are doomed to be misgoverned by Congress. PV Narsimha Rao though considered as the best PM among the Congress stable, aborted Nuclear Tests presumably under US pressure. It was for ABV to defy even the omniscient and omnipresent US Satellites to conduct that when he became Prime Minister.

If Chachaji and the original Mrs. Gandhi – born Indian at least - played havoc with Indian National Interest, could then a Prime Minion under a ‘Reluctant Indian’ of ‘Italian origin’ do better? So why the hell this outrage!!!!!!!

After all 15% of India’s  ‘secular’ population is to be kept in good humor for them to vote ‘en block’ during elections for the ‘secular party’  and voting ‘strategically’ against the ‘communal party’ – equating them (Indian Muslims)  with Pakistanis is not an insult to them, but Secularism! And this ‘Secularism’ propounded by Chachaji and followed by other Congress men/women/Babes and Babes is the key to power.

MMS is toeing the same line as his predecessors did; and his ‘ Big Fart’ at Sharm – el – Sheikh is nothing unusual, just in line of compromising Indian National Interest at the altar of a ‘few secular votes’.

Shameless are they?

No, they were in power and have ‘managed/manufactured’ another win too.

Now it is to us ‘The Billion strong nation’ to be shame faced and feel betrayed by yet another Congress Pm @ our cost. As for Sonia’s Prime Minion: he sure has ensured his ‘pension’ and ensuing perks.

PI.

100% Optical Illusion Alone Lol! I am back after a prolonged hiatus from blog and this is my first post since the Sonia/ MMS ‘mysteriously’ managed electoral survival. Well, not only that – but managed to come back with more nos of seats than last time too. Sure, MMS by virtue of being a career bureaucrat all his life; knows the ‘art of survival’.

Well, where the credit to Madame Sonia ‘Maino’ Gandhi and Crowned Prince is understandable nevertheless the role of Media especially of the Liberal – Secular variety can not be underestimated either. May be that is precisely why the News Queen and News Raja were suitably awarded by the Sonia’s Prime Minion!!!

Placement of ‘Right’ man/woman in ‘right’ place at ‘right’ time for ‘right’ job did not disappoint Sonia and her team at all.

If in case this person had failed to deliver the desired results; the powers to be had one back up plan ready to meet that contingency. i.e.: in case of hung verdict the other ‘right’ person at ‘right’ place for the ‘right’ decision would have come in to play.

Congress has ruin ruled India for long and has perfected the art of managing ‘constitutional posts’ very well. History proves my point.

Look at the post ‘results 2009’ political scene. Methodically; difficult allies like Left are decimated. Blackmailing allies like Laloo and Paswan are biting dust. Stream of corrupt politicians (Balu, Raja etc) from MDMK- though are back, but chastened somewhat. Missionary minister like Ramdoss of PMK ‘blew away’.  Potential threats from Maya, Jaya, Naidu etc. is checked and mated well. Political dalals (as we saw in action July last year during No Confidence motion) are jobless. And for sure the ‘Communal BJP’ is routed.

Congress never had it so good in recent times. WOW!

All this with single digit increase in % share of votes!

Single digit % increase in votes resulting in almost 100 seats gain!

UNBELIEVABLE you say!

For no other reason, I call this ‘the perfect election planning’. Kudos to Sonia ‘Maino’ Gandhi!

Spin-misters of Congress dynasty masquerading as ‘journalists’ and/or outright Congress stooges deeply embedded in Sec-Soc ‘main stream media’ are smug and gloating over ‘the mysterious’ win of Congress. In their collective wisdom the victory of Congress is attributed to the ‘Tayag’ of Sonia, to smiling dimpled face of Crowned Prince and yes to Dr. ‘the economist’ PM too is mentioned in some passing reference. How every one including this ‘Great’ did not see the PRO Congress Wave before results 2009? No body answers.

Mata Ji Tusi Great Ho! Sachi Muchi!

Jaikara Maata 10 Janpath Walli Da…

Bol Sonia Tere Darbaar Ki Jai.

MMS in his earlier avatar as PM was a big disappointment, had very little to boost of, for positives (if any) the credit was appropriated by Maa Balidaan Moorti and the Crowned Prince and for majority of all things MMS govt failed miserably, blame was passed conveniently on to the difficult allies like Left or to blackmailer like Laloos or to corrupt Balu and Raja or to opportunistic Ram Vilas etc. MMS as Prime Minion Minister either knew nothing or did nothing. Even it took him FULL FOUR years to fire this ‘Zombie’!

If at all one and only achievement credited to MMS was: The Nuclear ‘NoClear’ deal! Right from beginning it was mired in one controversy followed by another and finally was finalized at the cost of ‘democracy’ with active support of ‘Power brokers’ and conniving Media ‘stalwarts’. Worst fears expressed against the deal then; have come to fore now.

Having said above, I wish us Billion + Indians good luck (we need it and loads of it) – like it or not, with MMS as ‘nominated’ PM yet again for another five years or till the ‘youthful’ no more @ 39 Crowned Prince decide to decide how to carry on the legacy of mis-governance inherited from ‘the great Nana dear of Daddy dear’ – in which ever case we are doomed/destined to be misgoverned by Sonia ‘Maino’ Gandhi and her son and then grand son/daughter…

History seldom provides another opportunity to any; but MMS has got another chance (thanks to Mata Ji). I being a democrat (howsoever flawed it may be, yet it is best option as I see it)  hope MMS won’t fail HIS Nation this time; at least for as long as he remains as Prime Minion Minister. He has served the ‘Dynasty’ for far too long and with distinction. Of course! I fervently hope that this time at least he would serve the nation too. Even if with half a commitment as he has for the ‘Family’, it would be good job done.

If Sonia ‘Maino’ Gandhi had always been ‘loyal’ to her ‘Countryman’ using/abusing YOU (MMS govt), what stops MMS to help OWN ‘really poor’ fellow Countrymen, Women and Children! Using this ‘mysterious win’ to his (in the interest of his own country) advantage he can do it- if he so wants. Time for MMS to prove he is ‘The Prime Minister’ of a billion strong Nation called ‘BHARAT’ not merely a ‘Prime Minion’ of one family @ 10 Janpath alone.

Dr. MMS wish you are listening. Are you? I wish you luck and hope you would prove to be more than just a ‘survivor’ and ‘pension seeker’ unlike any other good ‘Career Babu’.

As for BJP: This defeat presents an opportunity to introspect and do that sincerely. May be we are heading towards bipolarity of politics, though it still is premature to say so conclusively. It is high time to put act together and bounce back, Bharat would do well to have a strong ‘Right leaning’ counter force against the onslaught of ‘supposedly secular forces’.

Friends, whatever is happening in BJP is not necessarily bad (as made out and amplified by MSM) rather this ‘churning’ will help BJP and new leadership emerge and ‘strongly’ too. One way forward is to go back to basics and stop try to being secular.

What ever BJP may try; two things are certain…

  1. The ‘Most Secular’ 15% of Indian population would just not vote for you.
  2. The ‘Sec-Soc’ liberal and progressive media would only foul mouth any thing ‘Hindi, Hindu and Hindutava’.

MSM through this victory of ‘Dynasty’ has tasted the blood. The mighty omniscient, omni known and omnipresent ‘Sec- Soc Liberal and Progressive’ media might pose a serious challenge to the Bharat.

Prudent Indian.

PI.

Well if you are not bored of all this politicking, I am. At least I want to take a breath. Enough of politics these days, so I think we all need a deserving break.

But then we are amidst a very important election too and really can not afford to stay away from keeping a close watch on what all is happening around us.  So I recommend a little break and what better way to have some ‘Glamour Quotient’ added to the hurly burly of Politics! :)

After all, these days ‘Glamour and Politics’ are wedded Na.  Thanks to our  Amar Singh ‘Ji’ ( he too deserves some credit boss) for adding some spice in otherwise  ’bland politics’. Give even a Devil his due where he deserves. :)  So why do we deny our selves some pleasure?

Here I present one of my favorite ‘sensuous song’.

Will be right back after this small break. Do not go away keep reading. :)

PI.

ENJOY…

It is rightly said, “In politics a week is a long period”. Politicians, the world over have a persona and they carefully create and nurture that. Politicians are trustworthy or not depend on how the public perceive them. Therefore ‘public perception’ is very important.

Dr. MMS  for long was held in esteem – albeit mightily exaggerated and largely Media created. Dr MMS too fell a victim of his own ‘exaggerated persona’ and thought that his words would be taken as gospel truth. As Arun Jaitley Sir has said many a times, “the peril of ‘propaganda’ is that you your self start believing in it whereas public stop buying it”. True.

Dr. MMS either were under the same illusion or he trusted his Congress’s spin masters in media too a bit too much.  :)  Possibly Dr. ‘Complan Boy’ might have not been subjected to such a stern scrutiny had he understood the difference between ‘legitimate political criticism’ and ‘personal insults’ which he and his owner family has been making against Shri L k Advani.

It is natural that Dr. too is asked some really tough questions. He would not have attracted so much of ‘personal attention’ of critics because he was not relevant at all due to his ‘listless and utterly forgettable’ 5 years ‘in office but out of power’. Is this a ploy of his to grab some attention? Well! He misread the public mood then. :)

But the mask has slipped and more we dig deep in to his past actions more he is stripped off what ever is left.

Reproducing Shri A Surya Prakash’s this incisive piece with my emphasis.

The man behind the mask

As he comes to the end of his term as Prime Minister, Mr Manmohan Singh has decided to serve up a daily dose of vitriol in order to convince the people of India that he is not a weak Prime Minister. But, not everybody is taken in by his strident denunciations and what many regard as his unrighteous indignation. How will history judge him, specially when it evaluates him through the prism of constitutionality and the rule of law? Let us seek answers through the stories of four men — Jagdish Tytler, Sajjan Kumar, Ottavio Quattrocchi and Mr Navin Chawla — and guess what future generations would make of his prime ministership.

984-shame-mms2

984-shame-mms2

The Justice Nanavati Commission of Inquiry, which investigated the anti-Sikh pogrom unleashed by the Congress following the assassination of Mrs Indira Gandhi, has provided gory details of the large-scale massacre of members of a small religious minority by this party’s goons. The report says that in all 2,732 Sikhs were killed in those riots — 2,146 in Delhi and 586 in some other towns in north India. Thousands of others were grievously injured. Congress supporters roamed the streets and torched every known Sikh establishment including factories, businesses, homes and motor vehicles. But, how did the ‘secular’ Congress, which was at that time presided over by the ‘secular’ Rajiv Gandhi, respond in the face of this barbaric assault on the Sikh community?

The Nanavati Commission says that in Delhi, just 587 First Information Reports were filed in police stations in respect of these incidents. Of them, 241 cases were filed as ‘untraced’ by the police and 253 cases ended in acquittals. The police obtained convictions in just 25 of the 587 cases!

After Justice Nanavati submitted his report in February, 2005, the UPA Government headed by Mr Singh presented the mandatory ‘Action Taken’ Report to Parliament. In reality, it was a report on inaction and the irony is that it was presented by a Government headed by India’s first minority Prime Minister, and one who happened to be a Sikh. For example, when the commission said, “There is credible evidence against Shri Jagdish Tytler to the effect that very probably he had a hand in organising the attacks on Sikhs”, Mr Singh’s Government desperately clung to the words “very probably” and said no person can be prosecuted simply on the basis of ‘probability’.

Similarly, in respect of Sajjan Kumar, the commission concluded that “there is credible material” against him and that witnesses had accused him of inciting people to kill Sikhs and loot and destroy their properties. Yet, Mr Singh silently watched as his party nominated Sajjan Kumar as a candidate for the ongoing Lok Sabha election.

The Congress announced the party’s tickets to Jagdish Tytler and Sajjan Kumar on March 22. The Prime Minister remained a passive spectator and even pretended that he was unaware of the clean chit that the Central Bureau of Investigation had given Tytler. Mr Singh’s shocking acquiescence to something so dreadful and unjust provoked a Sikh journalist to take the law into his hands. Eventually, this journalist’s ‘soleful’ riposte bestirred the soulless Congress and forced it to cancel their tickets. Yet, Mr Singh wants us to believe that he is a sensitive man; that he is a ‘secular’ man; and that he is not a weak Prime Minister!

Hum Saath Saath Hain

Hum Saath Saath Hain

Let us now turn to Ottavio Quattrocchi, Ms Sonia Gandhi’s Italian friend who got a commission of $ 7.3 million when we bought field guns from Bofors for our Army. The money first came to Quattrocchi’s Swiss Bank account and when non-Congress Governments began dredging up the truth, it was transferred to bank accounts in London. The National Democratic Alliance Government headed by Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee moved the UK authorities and ensured that those accounts were frozen. Mr Singh quietly unlocked Quattrocchi’s London bank accounts and ensured the Italian knocked off the commission.

His Government also dragged its feet on Quattrocchi’s extradition after the latter’s arrest in Argentina. It even hid information about Quattrocchi’s bail from the Supreme Court. The CBI claimed that it had not been informed about it by the Foreign Office. So, while in Jagdish Tytler’s case Mr Singh claims that the CBI never told him that it was giving the man a clean chit, in the Quattrocchi Case, the CBI said it was kept in the dark by the Foreign Office.

However, Mr Singh would like us to believe that he is an honourable man; that the country’s defence establishment is safe in his hands; that under him, the rule of law prevails at all time; and he is only concerned about the ‘aam admi’ and not about 10 Janpath’s ‘khaas admi’!

The third example is that of Mr Navin Chawla, the Secretary to the Lt Governor of Delhi during the dreaded Emergency in 1975-77. Mr Chawla displayed fascist tendencies when he ordered the Superintendent of Tihar Jail to “bake” Mrs Indira Gandhi’s political opponents in cells with asbestos roofs. The Shah Commission of Inquiry, which examined the systematic assault on democracy during the Emergency, said Mr Chawla had behaved in an “authoritarian and callous” manner. It indicted him and two other officers and said, “They grossly misused their position and abused their powers in cynical disregard of the welfare of citizens and in the process rendered themselves unfit to hold any public office which demands an attitude of fair play and consideration for others.” In its concluding remarks on the conduct of Mr Chawla and other officers, the commission said, “…tyrants sprouted at all levels overnight — tyrants whose claim to authority was largely based on their proximity to power….”

However, this very person, who was declared and who was “unfit to hold any public office” virtually described a tyrant by Justice Shah, was appointed as Election Commissioner by Mr Singh in 2005. Mr Chawla assumes the charge of Chief Election Commissioner this week. (UPDATE: Has assumed charge today. PI) Please note: Mr Singh is an honourable man; he is a man of character; and our democracy and our Constitution is safe in his hands!

So, how will history remember Mr Singh? As an honourable, ‘secular’ man as his shrill declamations would have us believe or as a Prime Minister who lacked the moral fibre to stand up for the Sikh community, of which he was himself a member? As a man who enforced the rule of law or as one who ducked responsibility to help the Italian friend of his mentor? Finally, will history remember him as a man who had deep respect for constitutional and democratic values or as one who sacrificed these values at the altar of political survival and admitted an unfit person to the sanctum sanctorum of democracy — the Election Commission ? Let us leave it to history.

Dr. MMS  If you try to spit on MOON, the spit falls back on your own face. You had it coming. :)

1984 how 4000 sikhs were burnt alive in Delhi.

In case you missed reading this, PM is Sher-e-Punjab: Rahul Gandhi.

I am reminded of one never ‘old’ film song from ‘Hare Rama Hare Krishna’

Dekho O Deewano Aise Kaam Na Karo…

…and I tell you feel like singing this as …

Dekho Rahul Ji; Aisa Kaam Na Karo.

Punjab Ka Naam BaadNaam Na Karo.

Manmohan Singh: ‘Prime Minister’ of India OR ‘Prime Minion’ of Sonia ‘Maino’ Gandhi?  An Observation.

Elections 2009 has taken a ‘curious’ turn following Shri L K Advani’s remark about the Dr. Manmohan Singh. This is what L K Advani said.

“From Jawaharlal Nehru till now, I have seen all prime ministers very closely. But I have not seen a weak prime minister like him (Manmohan Singh),”

“I call him a weak PM because in democracy, the most important address is of the prime minister, which is 7 Race Course Road but for the first time, it is not the most important address. Now the most important address is 10 Janpath, the residence of Sonia Gandhi,” Advani added.

“This government is not of Manmohan Singh, this government is of (Congress president) Sonia Gandhi. Manmohan Singh doesn’t run this government,” Advani held.

Good Dr. Manmohan Singh has taken this ‘fair, accurate and perfectly legitimate’ political criticism as an ‘insult’ and has been sulking since. Dr.MMS has been throwing barbs that Sudhendra Ji call as‘The Prime Minister’s ersatz bravado’.

I M Complan Boy!

I M Complan Boy!

Manmohan Singh and his Master and ‘her’ son and daughter have unleashed ‘personal attacks’ against L K Advani. Dr MMS too has been shouting since  then ‘I Am A Complan Boy‘. :)

But then Prime Minion of Sonia ‘Maino’ Gandhi had always had advaniphobia, if you do not believe then have a look at this. Om Bhur Bhava Swaha…Ssssh. Stop Please! PM is Scared!

Swapan rightly point out why the Congress has chosen PM’s anguish  as a ploy to distract attention of public …

The fact is that the Congress has wilfully chosen to over-react to the BJP slogan of “mazboot neta” by painting the Prime Minister as a hapless victim of a personal attack. The party has cleverly chosen to tap the reservoir of goodwill for Manmohan as a decent man who has been caught up in the murkiness of politics. In making the Prime Minister’s anguish an important talking point, it has sought to divert attention from some of the main issues of the campaign.

Now, I find Dr. MMS’s ’serial outburst’ and public display of – Oh! I m so hurt but I m ‘really a complain boy‘ – ridiculous if not outrageous!Dr. MMS forgets that he holds a ‘POLITICAL OFFICE’ as Prime Minister; therefore he is ‘ANSWERABLE’ to people of India not to his ‘Owner’ Sonia ‘Maino’ Gandhi.

In Democratic scheme of things PM is subjected to public scrutiny, he is subjected to criticism, right or wrong – he has to hear and pay attention to what people think of him. Prime Minister of India does not have the luxury of  ’immunity’ from public scrutiny and criticism. If Dr. MMS feels he is above all scrutiny, criticism then, Dr. MMS please take a walk…

Dr. MMS feel hurt and say ‘enough is enough’ because he himself knows from core of his heart that he is – to borrow term from Arun Jaitley - “in office but not in power”.

Dr. MMS know that he is Prime Minion of Sonia ‘Maino’ Gandhi not Prime Minister of India.

Dr. MMS know – and we all too know – that ever since he was ‘inflicted’ on India by his owner ‘Maino‘- that he was chosen among many more aspiring ‘minions’ ONLY because  his Owner family felt and considered him as least threatening to the ‘Owner’ and her heir aspirant. Had Dr. MMS not known and believed in it himself too, he would have fought the Lok Sabha election to prove - if only to self -that he deserves the Chair he occupies on his own not at any one’s mercy.

BUT Dr. MMS did not. Only reason that comes to mind is that: had he been – even accidentally – elected for Lok Sabha – the ‘owner family’ would have felt threatened from his being a challanger to them and replaced him with any another ‘minion’, so Dr. avoided elections ONLY to save his seat and  as for ‘in the art of survivial’ he is master par excellence.

Speaks volumes of his courage! Isn’t it? If this is not proof enough that Dr. MMS is ‘Prime Minion’ of Sonia first  than so called ‘Prime Minister’ of India if at all? Read on please.

Saving the precious bandwidth I ask Dr. MMS pointedly since he is protesting too much like a crying child against being called as ‘Weakest Prime Minister’! HUH!

Were you strong or weak…?

… When you’re cabinet minister ‘Guru Ghantal Shibu Soren’ went underground and police came looking for him and then pasted absconding/wanted notice on his door- first time in the history of Parliament - you said then; you did not know anything.

… When Mr. ‘Q’ - Italian country mate of your owner - was legally facilitated  to withdraw Bofors Kickback money by your cabinet colleague and law minister - You again said then; ‘you knew nothing’.

… When your ‘Union Health Minister’ was systemically destroying prestigious AIIMS for cynical personal gains and with viscious vendetta against Dr. P Venugopal, what were you doing or what did you do?

… In which ‘hole’ were you hiding then, when you’re Human Resource Destruction minister was playing with the lives of millions of bright and young Indians by introducing reservations in higher studies? Did you have the courage to stop Arjun Singh?

Tell me one night you were sleep less when city after city were being blown?

… How strong you were to continue with this ‘Walking Zombie in you’re cabinet even when your country men/ women/children were being blown to pieces on roads/bazaars/streets/stations even in Hospitals!

…Were you strong enough to check you’re cabinet minister T R Balu when he derailed the national highway programme but did all he could to destroy Ram Sethu?

…Where were you when you’re cabinet minister Antulay made this atrocious statement?

… CBI falls under PMO yet you knew nothing when ‘Q’ got away or even when Jagdish Tytler and Sajjan got clean chit! What?

…Why Dr. Singh you are furious with Advani alone? What! Cat had got you’re tongue when Parkash Karat called you ‘American Agent’ and/or ‘American lackey’? You did not squeak even, when Left was calling you all that, but then you choose not to - lest they pull out their support and you lose the comforts of 7RCR. Speaks volumes!

Why you choose not to debate with L K Advani? Why? Who stops you? Let me tell you why, because you know you have never been ‘Prime Minister’ but only ‘Prime Minion’ of Sonia ‘Maino’ and she would never allow any minion – prime or not – to be another centre of power and attention out side ‘her family’. And you like a good ‘employee’ would never offend ‘employer’ lest you’re job is snatched away from!

Dr. MMS you hold – even if by accident – a political post. You are answerable to Indian Electorate; you must tell us why you think you are not the ‘Weak Prime Minister’. And yes Dr. MMS ‘respect is earned not commanded’.

Dr. MMS I do not doubt your personal honesty but where did your‘political morality’ go when votes were being bought and Crores were paid to keep your government in power in July 2008? Where were you’re moral outrage when Indian democracy was being raped? BUT then ‘again’ you choose to keep eyes shut; only because you had staked your personal reputation to get the No-clear Deal signed even at the sake of ‘Democracy’. Your ‘personal honor and prestige’ was more important for you than the ‘National Honor and National Pride’! You shut eyes? OR all that was done in you’re knowledge by you’re cohorts? If this is not selective pangs of ‘political morality’ then pray tell what is?

Dr. MMS you’re ‘political immorality’ was exposed to all once more when you woke up Dr. Kalam in middle of night while The President was on official tour of Russia. YOU made him to sign the controversial ‘Bihar assembly dissolution bill’ which Supreme court held later as ‘Unconstitutional’! You remember Dr MMS ‘you’ asked Dr. Kalam to sign this bill? WHY? Just because otherwise Laloo would have pulled out support and you would have lost the chair! Shining example of ‘political morality‘!

You have been lambasting Advani for Kandhaar exchange where 200 Indian lives were at stake. Unfortunate and costly, yes. But under those difficult circumstances ‘only available prudent’ decision any Govt could have taken even at the risk of popularity. You are blaming Advani for demolition of ‘disputed structure’ at Ayodhya 1992 too, without even mentioning that ‘you’ were in PV Narsimha Rao’s Govt then as minister. DID ‘YOU’ resign in protest because your central govt did nothing??

Dr.MMS you  still have not disclosed what role ‘you’ played inCharar-e-Sharief crisis 1995. To learn about then Finance Minister Manmohan Singh’s role in the Charar-e-Sharief crisis management, one has to turn to the New York Times writing on May 15th 1995.

Any answer to offstumped’s this? Questions are asked to Dr MMS.

#1 Will he take responsibility for the Cabinet Decision to offer safe passage to foreign terrorists holed up in Mosques in Indian soil?

#2 Will he take responsibility for the incompetence of his Government that allowed foreign terrorists to hold press conferences on Indian soil?

#3 Will he explain to the nation exactly what was his contribution in the management of this crisis and its aftermath?

#4 Will he hold himself accountable in retrospect by way of collective cabinet responsibility for the delinquency of the then Congress Government in allowing Foreign Terrorists to occupy a Mosque on Indian Soil for 6 whole months with no fear of consequences ?

Dr. MMS your commitment is ‘to’ fight terror OR fight ‘for’ Terror Mongers? What an innovative way to fight terror by announcing pension and jobs for Terrorist’s widows and kins????

Dr. MMS you were sold to nation as ‘eminent economist‘. Had you succeeded ‘even’ at managing economy alone, leave alone all above, I would have given you some respect. But look what the mess you have made of the ‘economy‘! I am not interested to know your ‘mumble jumble’ of strong fundamentals and GDP and Growth rate etc etc. Tell me straight…

Why are we loosing jobs?

Tell us why we are paying almost double the prices what we used to pay five years back?

Tell me why farmers are still committing suicides despite you’re much touted ‘loan waivers’?

Tell me what assets have been created by wasting tax payer’s money on NREGS?

IS 100 days job at nominal wages to a man/woman in family sufficient for the family to survive?

To use Swapan’s expression

Wars, it is said, are too important to be left to Generals. The economy is far too strategic to be left to an economist. :)

Dr. MMS by virtue of me being a Punjabi too would still have felt some pride  for a moment though that  ‘you’ being a fellow Punjabi would do us ’some’ proud despite all above. Although I would have never let that be an influencing factor at all in my objective assessment of you. But you squandered that too (!) by being as ‘Prime Minion’ of Sonia ‘Maino’ Gandhi over all and every thing.

1984-shame-mms

I am sorry to say you failed even on this count too to warm my heart and disappointed Punjabis the world over. Even after 25 years of 1984 Sikh Massacre by you’re party goons no justice has been served till date. Instead you being as SIKH PM rubbed salts in the wounded ‘Punjabi Psyche’ by arranging ‘clean chits’ for ‘mass murders’, just on the election eve so they could fight elections.

Atrociously then you denied having any knowledge of that? And that too, of the agency’s misdeeds which is directly under you!!!!

GIVE ME A BREAK.

I know for sure Dr. MMS would never respond, as Ashok Malik sums up nicely

There is no point criticizing Mr Singh. He deserves a sentiment far more devastating: pity.

I hope post 16th May 2009 Nation would find a solace in the end of agonizing era of your regime. Yes, you would surely find some place in the foot note of history as ‘Prime Minion’ of Sonia ‘Maino’ Gandhi who survived to be Sikh PM of India even at the cost of National Honor, Pride, Security, Economy and Development.

SURVIVAL of  THE ‘MINIONIST’. Jai Ho!

Good Bye Dr. MMS…Do not return PLEASE ever again!

PI.
